I only give this (1) star because I can't give it a -10. I'm in the trucking industry but not a trucker and I travel a lot. I had the unfortunate circumstance of eating food out of the case at the Flying J in Texarkana,Arkansas. I had the Biscuits n Gravy or what I will now refer to them as Botulism and Grotesque. I mean I can't refer to them as anything else. I left Texarkana, Arkansas in a rush thus the reason for the Grab n Go from the food case. By the time I reached Arkadelphia,Arkansas I was on the off ramp experiencing violent projectile vomiting due to this food. I'm not a Doctor, Virologist or Food Inspector but also not an idiot. I was feeling fine until my unexpected misfortune. This continued throughout the day. I seriously contemplated legal action against Berkshire Hathaway, FJ Management and Jimmy Haslam the owners. My advice is to stay far, far away. This location seriously needs a food inspection. You would have got safer foods from a cart with a vendor who had the black plague during the Dark Ages... read more

Stopped here to get gas and coffee during a road trip. The workers were incredibly kind - even those who I did not necessarily interact with wished me a good day as I walked passed. The gas is expensive. The Denny's is alright. The bathrooms get the job done. It is the first big gas station when you're heading north from I-49 to I-30 (toward Little Rock) or the last if you're headed south. It's big and easy to see from the Highway, which is honestly why we chose it on consecutive days. read more

The Flying J is everything a truck stop should be. Lots of snacks, beverages, food, souvenirs, some clothing, vehicle accessories and some parts plus super clean rest rooms. The cashiers were super friendly and confirmed I found everything I needed. Several rows of gas pumps for cars and regular trucks with semi trucks having a separate entrance and pumps. Gas prices were competetive and the same as Love's Truck Stop. The parking lot was well maintained, windshield washer water and paper towels were full and trash cans not overfilled. I can certainly recommend stopping here for gas, snacks, food, beverages or just for a quick break. read more

We were in our RV pulling a car, went to fuel up. There is construction around the pumps for cars so when we were leaving we went the other way. There was a section of the asphalt drive that had a puddle of water, only it was a very deep pothole that shook our RV like an earthquake thought we lost our car in it. Not but a couple of minutes they put a orange cone in it to let you know how deep it is. This happened on October 6 and we still haven't heard anything from corporate or anyone. read more

Nice clean friendly employees. Food always look fresh, but DO NOT get the fried chicken unless you like salty. You will taste nothing but straight salt. I really wish they would change there season for the health of the truck drivers. read more

If you need a pick-me-up after the butt-numbing drive between Dallas and Texarkana, Exit 7 awaits! This older Flying J features a small deli counter with pre-made sandwiches, pizzas, and warmed-up things under heat lamps (I do miss the Super Dogs). There is an attached Denny's, and to feed your sugar high, a Cinnabon kiosk. The men's restroom gets beat up due to high usage. The fuel prices tend to be pretty good. I usually stop in for a tank of gas, a soda and a snack before heading east or west. And if you're so inclined, there is some sort of "Adult Lounge" further down the road. read more

PRETTY AS A PICTURE I thought hard about giving this place five stars for fear of losing credibility with ME! I hate Denny's, every single one of them, or so I thought. But this one? Amazing. It's in a Flying J, so I'm thinking FJ is the franchisee, a demanding one. At least a demanding business partner. It certainly wasn't the cleanest Flying J, but it does have a Denny's. If you eat Tabasco on your grits, they might look at you quixotically. Normally a Grand Slam may be enough to get you through your drive, but the Cinnabon kiosk is like harpies singing delicately until you greedily snatch up a six pack. I can't help it. I have a weakness for Cinnabon. read more

While on a school trip with a large number of students, we were all kicked out of the store and restrooms for no apparent reason other than the employees were concerned about the cleanliness of the store. They bound the doors with a bungee cord. Given that it was 46 degrees outside, I don't plan on ever coming here again. read more

Over overnight staff is horrible. Restrooms are nasty, there's no fresh food. Nothing on the Rollers either. DO NOT STOP HERE AT NIGHT.

Gas pump doesn't work unless you have a flying J rewards card. There are stations everywhere with cheaper gas and pumps that actually work. Don't waste your time here. read more

Restroom looked horrible! Appearance and cleanliness is a very important aspect of a business without COVID. So when people enter a business this is very important ,the overall appearance tells a lot about and makes me think twice before returning. Walls and floors need cleaning! read more

The only thing this place really has going for them over some other Pilots is the huge driver's lounge with brand new chairs. Besides that, it's a disappointment. The water in the showers was nice and hot, but the shower rooms are tiny. I'd rather there be 7 average sized showers at a Pilot than 15 closet sized ones. The thing that really made this place earn its low rating is the breakfast, or should I say lack thereof. My husband and I went in at 6am, when most places are finishing up breakfast foods and putting them out on the bar. Not this place, they were just starting to put food on the roller grills, there was no sausage gravy or oatmeal out, and the only things on the hot bar behind the counter were two sausage biscuits and three French toast and bacon sandwiches. It'd be one thing if there was a 24 hour McDonald's or Subway here, but the only other option here is Denny's, and the ones in truck stops are usually slower than Pilot itself. read more

Awww yeahhhhhh. Lots of pumps for gassing up, lots of bathroom stalls for letting loose, and lots of snacks and drinks to keep you from gouging your eyes out on a long drive. Gas prices at the J are always amongst if not the best on unleaded. This particular location has a Denny's as its interior restaurant, though they also sell premade sandwiches and salads up by the cash register. Across the street is some kind of XXX adult store - maybe that's why all the other patrons in the J were men in the evening when I passed through. Some clerks are females though, so you're safe from the creepsters! read more

Needless to say I removed my shoes before getting into my vehicle due to how gross the floor was as well. My husband said the men's room was just as bad.
