Besides the usual and typical truck stop merch, this location has some hot food for to-go at the convenience store counter. Also have Cinnabon rolls for a fast sugar fix. Sweet but not cheap, as other reviewers have noted. Plus there's a Denny's attached if you want sit down food. Rest room was clean, well stocked, and of modern decor. Prices for convenience food & merch are usual truck stop level high-high-high. That's to be expected. Staff seems friendly. read more

When you are truck driving, after that long 11 hour drive, you looking for a good and safe place to rest. This pilot travel center is an awesome place to stop and get your 10 hours rest. Clean parking spots, fuel pumps that are easy to get to, also they are clean and sterilized.  Parking spots are clean and there is no worry that you will catch a nail. Parking lot is well taken care of. It nice when  fuel pumps are easy to get to. There are some pilot travel centers that its pain in the butt to get to the pump. Pumps are also clean and sterilized. Inside, there are many things. First thing is of course coffee. They added these machines a while and so the brew fresh  and delicious coffee just for us drivers. There are some snacks for the coffee between the aisles.They also have showers that of course are clean and very well taken care of. The best time to take a shower is between 9 am and 7pm, because those showers will wave a line before or after those times that I mentioned. read more

I took a line to take a shower. 6 of their showers were empty, but I waited for more than 1 hour. Also the shower was not clean.

I kind of love these "enhanced" gas stations in the middle of nowhere! Total convenience... but, also slightly overwhelming. It was around lunch time as I stopped to fill the tank on the way to my next job site. Not entirely busy, to my surprise. I filled up while heading inside to grab a drink/snack for the trip back down to the Valley. There were plenty of attendants- I didn't have to wait more than a minute in line, and everyone was efficiently friendly! Everyone was wearing a mask- required to enter. Props! But, it is a little overwhelming inside. It's a large store- complete with "shopping"! You'll find all your normal convenience store options. Full fountain drink station, hot dogs, nachos, etc... and, they have a pizza counter for slices or full pies. Even better- you can indulge in the small Cinnabon chain included, to boot! However- the prices here are STEEP!! Not just the gas prices (I mean, I did slightly expect that for the region), but 1 to-go Cinnabon was over $5! A two pack, over $10... you can probably guess what the 1/2 dozen would be. My jaw dropped when a full dozen was pushing $50+. Sorry, but diabetes in a box shouldn't cost more than splurging on the salad bar at Whole Foods! Great place to stop & you can really find everything you need on the go, plus some fresh, hot food (or deli selections). But, the prices are just a bit steep, and this is a very busy travel center when you're looking for a "rest" stop. read more

This place is ridiculous. I filled up my car for $64 and then later that night checked my bank account. THEY CHARGED ME $151 DEPOSIT. I understand most gas stations require a deposit but I've never seen it over $1. After calling them, they said it would take 2-3 business days to refund it but honestly I have a bad feeling they are just trying to steal my money. I mean what gas station charges $151 for a deposit?! read more

This place is awesome that's all I can say really the truckers go there to fuel up and to sleep in the back they have showers there they have a Cinnabon they have fresh food pot roast mashed potatoes greens broccoli macaroni and cheese I have pizza by the slice or you can buy the whole pizza cheaper than you would at the local pizza shop and the pizza is excellent they also got hot wings and regular wings which are delicious and they have every beverage under the sun and a bonus they are attached right next-door to a Denny's you can get everything there they even have a jewelry shop in the back with a real jewelry read more

It was around lunchtime that I pulled into the Flying J in Winslow. I had just passed through downtown Winslow, seeing the sights, but there just wasn't anywhere obvious to eat that appealed to me in town. However, since I needed fuel anyway, I pulled up and did so. Lo and behold, inside the Flying J I found just what I needed... hot dogs. I know, I know... convenience store hot dogs... Why would I subject myself to something like that? Well, at the time, it was just what I (and my body) needed. I picked up two of them, then sat outside on a bench eating them while watching people go about their business. Inside the store is busy, with lots of travellers and truckers going in and out, but they keep up with it. I didn't have any issues with the place, and they had just what I needed at the time, so I was happy. read more

Like many, I stopped here for fuel after standing on a corner in Winslow, AZ. I suspect the townsfolk get pretty damn tired of those references, but I digress. This station is a real deal truck stop. It has a lot of pumps, but is the only fuel stop around and is always packed. Lots of people pumped gas and then went inside without moving their cars causing more delays. Inside the shop is a bit hectic. Both times I stopped the bathrooms were packed, not particularly clean and the store was a mess. I'm guessing it's pretty hard to maintain with the volume of traffic they get. Another negative I noticed on one visit was the person hustling customers for money. The scam is always different, but the gist is always the same. They need money for gas, repairs or some other sob story. The truth is that they are running a scam and the station should have ran them off. Even with the negatives this station is in a great location. If you're low on gas you can easily ignore any negatives so that you avoid being stranded. read more

This station never has receipt paper in its pumps! If you want a receipt you'll have to go inside and wait in line to get one because either the employees are too lazy or they purposefully want to make you come in thinking you'll spend more. Whenever a station doesn't have receipts available at the pumps I never spend any money inside! read more

Now this is the place to stop! Gas prices are reasonable, the store full of classics like soda, coffee, energy drinks, chips, candy and truck stuff! The bathrooms are clean and we always seem to make it just as they are cleaning, or finishing so they are always looking good. read more

I went their to get the leaking hub gasket replaced. Mechanic turned me away saying that they don't perform any mechanical repairs on weekends. Then he started saying we need to close in 40 mins so we can't help you. Lazy people. read more

The store was very clean and staff were pleasantly greeting everyone who came in. There was plenty of truck parking which is always nice. Stayed the night in my truck and this morning used the showers. Showers were extremely clean and modern. The lady who was there I guess cleaning them made sure to say, "have a nice shower" which tells me they pay attention. Shower was $12 and it was worth every penny to be able to start the day fresh and clean. Thank you flying j for supporting us drivers. read more

Two stars because it was nice on one hand to be greeted by a pleasant man working the cinnamon roll Thursday morning 10/24 but then going into the bathroom first thing in the morning the toilets were gross, no seat liners, dirty floor, I had to flush one to even use it! Winslow, AZ Flying J. April 8, 2019. PM I pulled into pump station #10 which was empty. I inserted my credit card with my zip code which was accepted and I was authorized to pump fuel to my vehicle using my credit card. A customer approached me and accused me of pumping her fuel which she claimed she paid $20 cash at pump #10. She acknowledged she paid for the wrong pump number. She told me the Flying J employee said to take it up with me, I owed her $20, and said she could call the police. I felt that I had to clear this with the customer and Flying J. I finished pumping fuel which was a total $24 and showed her the receipt. She didn't believe me. She said I had to go into the store to prove it. I went in the store and Manny said he could help. I showed him my receipt which had $24 and my credit card information. He didn't look at hers and he asked me if I had my credit card to match to the receipt. I didn't understand because the women's cash receipt was for $20 and mine was $24, they were two separate transactions. He acted strangely and i asked for my receipt back. He wouldn't give it back to me. I asked several times and he took my receipt and walked towards the back to the shower/restroom area to a managers door without telling me where we were going or why. I asked him where we were going and he didn't explain. He had my receipt the whole time. Meanwhile the lady with the cash receipt was walking with us. He knocked on the door and the manager came out. I grabbed my receipt from Manny's hand as he held it up in the air to the lady manager. Now i had what was my property in my hand. The manager asked if I had my credit card. Which to me by now was about 20 minutes into the unnecessary ordeal I knew she wouldn't believe me either. So i went to my vehicle to get my credit card. Manny followed me, all the while with a smirk on his face. I asked what I would get when in fact the receipt and card matched. He said, "well you won't have to pay that lady her money." I had to tell him not to follow me to my vehicle to stay back at the sidewalk to give me space while I went to my vehicle to get my credit card. He stood in the middle of the parking lot. I knew my card number matched that on the receipt and showed Manny who notified through his microphone the card number matched the receipt with the amount. I did call Manny a name and I still stand by it. I asked the manager for an apology in which she said she was sorry. Manny asked me to apologize to him for calling him a name. I didn't because I told him he didn't believe me so that name stands. Flying J should not accuse people of stealing gas, especially when I had a matching receipt and there were obviously two transactions, one cash for $20 and one credit for $24. Flying J should not have told me I owe another customer money. I paid and had my receipt. Flying J employee should've released the receipt to me when I requested it. It is in fact mine. They have the electronic records in their computers. Flying J should utilize their surveillance system to determine what happened. Flying J should train employees to avoid another circumstance like this. It makes me wonder if the employees are the ones scamming their customers. I will not go to Flying J again. read more

This was the cleanest Flying J by far in all our RV travels from coast to coast CA to CT. I 10, I20, I30, I40, to name a few. The coffee and soda station was sooo clean. Thank you Winslow FJ. read more

Nice and clean. Pizza was a rip off- 3.49 a slice. C'mon, I live in NYC and slices aren't even that expensive there. That being said, I love gas station food, and this place does have some decent selections. 2 burritos for $2 (or 1.09 each when u buy them separately as I did). It was so good, I needed another. Stopped here to top off the diesel tank. Truck lanes are close to the roadway so it does not take long before getting into this Flying J can be a bit challenging. During my stop, LOTS of construction going on, therefore, it was a mess and very dirty. I think it will be a nice place once all the mayhem is over. It worked for fuel and that was about it. I did overhear one customer wanting to use the dump station and apparently, a construction trailer was parked there so it was not accessible. If you're looking for a place to stop other than fuel, I'd suggest heading down the roadway until construction is completed at this Flying J. The troubles of keeping a business open while doing major renovations. read more

Flying J Denny's ... The Denny's there has to be the worst. Over an hour wait in an almost empty restaurant for overpriced greasy eggs and even greasier hash browns. My breakfast has been up and down and up again in my stomach for the last 2 hours. Shot me if I ever stop there again... there ought to be prison terms for serving the public garbage like this. read more

When my boyfriend and I travel and stop at a Flying J I always get BonBites. Unfortunately, some locations are better than others. This location was fabulous from the selection they had to the service to the Cinnabon's actually being warm and fresh. Bravo! read more

Apparently they take lunch at 1030 here. Came to get diesel and some propane tanks filled and the lady said no propane for 30 minutes he's on lunch, with the 4 other people on staff you think someone could've assisted us. This place sucks. read more

This place is a shithole, yet it is pretty much the only game in town so they can do whatever they want and people will still come here for gas and other road trip needs. I would never come here if it weren't for the fact that we always need gas at this point in our road trip to see the inlaws, and there is no other gas along our route before we arrive. We got to the Flying J Travel Plaza in serious need of gas, a bathroom, and a quiet area to nurse our baby before hitting the road for the last stretch of driving. 4 of 12 pumps were out of service, and the line for gas reminded me of the oil embargo in the late 70s. Not only that, but when I finally pulled up to the pump, the pay at the pump credit card reader was broken, as indicated by the crude duct tape tape over. So I had to go inside, because it's only prepay at this travel plaza. I went in, gave them my card, told them to fill it up on 8, went out, and...nothing. I tried everything, but nothing worked. I tried to use the intercom, but that was busted too. Finally, one of the employees that was trying to manage the situation outside and had a wireless intercom came by and called inside to finally have them activate the pump. Even then the pump kept stopping as if my gas tank were already full. Needless to say, I only put in enough to get me to my destination. The bathrooms are filthy and the employees are some of the least helpful I've ever seen. Asleep at the wheel, as one guy put it that day. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Wow this place has bad customer service, even in the Denny's. French fries are bitter like the need to change the oil in the fryers. I told the waitresses no lettuce, tom, etc and she said it doesn't come with it, guess what it did! So here I am stuck in the car trying to fix this mess!
