No star should be an option…read more Today while visiting McCall for the day my sister and I stopped into this shop with the intention of finding a treasure for our children to remember the area. The woman behind the counter, I cannot state that she is a lady as not a single action from her was positive throughout our entire, less than ten minute, visit to this store. Not only did she make very verbal judgments about and directly to the five kiddos that were with us not being in school at one point huffing after straight out asking straight if they were home schooled because they were not in school and not receiving the answer she apparently wanted. She also scoffed and rolled her eyes when we stated we were in the area visiting family (after asking) and made further judgmental statements about children being not in school again. She was further insulting when she followed various members of our group, acting as though they had clear intentions of theft. She made verbal comments to the children on how they should be behaving (none we missing behaving) and was very inappropriate to the group as a whole. We left and will not be returning. The one good thing from this encounter was it allowing for an excellent teaching moment of how to respect people at all times and. And not to make judgments based on personal opinions.

Walking through the children's non-fiction and I see "Gender Queer", "Pride" and another sexual identity book geared towards children. This crosses a moral line and I can't in good conscience spend another penny here supporting indoctrination of young minds. It's disappointing.
