One of the staff members helped me change the spring in my rifle and taught me how to do it myself (I have a Lancer Tactical Gen 2 rifle that shot close to 400 FPS with the stock spring while their field limit was 330) their shop had just about everything you could need to get a kit started or finished from batteries to grenade launchers. if you're considering paying this field a visit and would like to get your gun worked on, I recommend buying one of the brands they carry because they will almost always have the parts you need to upgrade your gun there on the property. if you have a side arm, make sure it is electric or green gas because they don't allow C02 (it shoots too hard) If I could give it more stars I would but this is as good as a yelp review gets Thanks Battlecat, I'll definitely be back soon

We have had two docks built by them and any number of modifications to the first one over it's 15 year life at our place. The current dock is aluminum and is well built, well designed, very attractive, and functional. Docks are a substantial investment. This place maximized the benefits of your dollar if you plan to keep your dock for the long term. They also produce an excellent boat lift. Easy to work with and honest as the day is long....

But when an existing fixed portion of my dock was upended from a storm, to which their dock system was attached, they were very unresponsive to my request for a quote, or to schedule a repair. I've been calling for 4 months, and have been unable to even get an appointment for a quote. I'm very disappointed.Treating your paying customers as if they're insignificant is bad business.

I have never had any problems with getting them out to make changes for new boats. Very dependable and as honest and friendly as possible. I just bought a new boat and needed the lift reconfigured to fit the new hull. Ernest Rodgers who owns the company, came out Friday night as we got the boat in the water for the first time and adjusted our lift. He stopped by the boat dealer to measure the boat hull earlier and probably could have just adjusted the lift with out the boat. He said that he wanted to see the boat on the lift to make absolutely certain it was OK. When in the "up" position the lift's locking arm mechanism puts upward pressure on your boat dock and eliminates movement of your boat relative to your dock. This cuts down on wear and squeaking, etc. The arms can be padlocked for security. This is much easier than other four point systems where I have had to use chain or cable to secure the lift to the dock posts. The lift is built of heavy steel that is galvanized. All metal is out of the water and only the plastic tanks are in the water... I have owned a four point system that was more complicated and not as stable. It was also more difficult to load the boat onto. With a four point system the entire lift submerges. When you pull your boat into the slip you need to secure it with lines, then hold it in place while the lift comes up out of the water. In wind or chop, this can be a difficult process. If the boat doesn't line up correctly, you have to sink the lift and try again. At a minimum, you will be holding the boat for With a front swivel system like this the front of the lift is hinged to your dock and the back of the lift sinks. It's much like a boat trailer. Loading the boat is simple. You pull into your slip and the front of the lift catches and centers your boat. You power the boat up on the lift for a foot or two... the lift holds the boat. You then turn on the lift and your boat is picked up. There is much less holding and centering to be concerned with and there is less chance of your boat contacting the sides of your slip. The Carolina Boat Lift is also less susceptible to sinking due to waves. I have a friend who would find his lift down because waves lifted his four point system up and dumped the air in his tanks. The Carolina Boat Lift does not bounce and will hold air better. The standard lifting capacity of the lift is 6500 lbs. That's over 2000 lbs. more lift than competitors' standard lifts. If you are like us, you may move up to a heaver boat over time. Replacing or adding to a lift is expensive so this extra capacity can be very useful. I have owned both the Carolina Boat Lift and the competitors four point system and by far prefer the Carolina Boat Lift...

My husband, daughter, and I visited this establishment 6/14/25. Someone (seemingly the owner)…read moreapologized for the mess as they had a tree come down the night before that they were cleaning up. Lloyd, the cow, was extremely malnourished and had bones sticking out all over the place. One of the horses seemed depressed. The cavies (spelling?) were in the saddest tiny space. The cats around the property were all scrawny and terribly thin. All of the animals, regardless of type, were all fed the same pellet food that was dumped right onto the muddy ground for them to eat off of. Their water was dirty. The trash bins around the area were all full of garbage, plus there was trash all over the ground. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Their reptiles, prairie dog, snakes, and another bird are all kept in a shed on the property. They don't allow you into the shed, but bring them out one by one to show you. The girl who brought the reptiles and other poor animals out of the shed proceeded to tell us about how Skippy, the kangaroo, and the Emu, who share the same space will fight. She detailed enough that we know that Skippy jumped on the Emu's back while attacking her. Everything screams neglect, trash, and a money scheme. I would never, ever spend my money here again. I would never, ever recommend it, either. I wholeheartedly believe that this place should be shut down and the animals taken away where they can receive better care. I would give a negative score if I could.

It's big. Someone was there directing traffic too so it was easy to know where to go and ask questions of, if need be. There are even public bathrooms available. The docks are all floating, wide, metal planks. Well kept, clean, very little bird poop and very few spider webs (impressive.) I saw a cute little beach off to one side and lots of docking area off to the other. It was easy for us to get in and out as well. If you're looking for somewhere to put your boat in or out of lake Hartwell, this is it!
