No stress, no back-and-forth. On top of that, she snagged us some upgrades and little freebies at the hotel -- totally unexpected but very appreciated. And the prices? Fantastic. Super value for what we got. Honestly, if she handles land trips this well, I can only imagine her cruise selections are top notch. She represents all of the top cruise lines too. She found us an amazing hotel in Salzburg, Austria, walking distance to pretty much everything, with spectacular customer service and Angela got us a free upgrade on the room! Angela knows how to dig into the details, and asks you the right questions to help find things you will like, from hotels to things to do while you're there, transportation, you name it. I didn't realize how much it helps to use a travel agent and their resources to find deals that you just can't find by Googling and using travel search sites. She keeps an eye on prices and if they go down after booking, she can capture those savings for you. Also, you have a point person to call during your trip if any issues arise or if you want to make some adjustments to your trip while you're there. Since our Europe trip, she found us a great deal on a cruise in 2027 with an awesome room and all kinds of perks. She's had a lot of experience taking cruises herself and that helped so much in guiding us in choosing the right cruise for us. We are now planning other trips through her as well and she consistently finds better deals on hotels than we have been able to find ourselves.

We encountered problems with the transportation agency on the return flight and sent Wanda an e-mail. She immediately jumped into action and stayed on the issue until it was resolved. Travel by Monica arranged for us to have private guides to popular sites, which was fabulous. It most definitely was the highlight of the trip. Second, Travel by Monica arranged for us to have private transfers between locations. Four of Five of these trips were great; the drivers were very courteous and safe. However, one was not, and several times during this trip, we thought he was going to get us killed. However, our main issue with Travel by Monica was the Hotels they selected. Since this was for our anniversary, we expected that Travel by Monica would have reviewed these locations and chosen wisely. However, only two of the five locations were satisfactory; two fell below our expectations, being cramped and needing repairs. Finally, there was one that was a complete disappointment. I have closets in my home that are larger than the room Travel by Monica booked us into. It was unsafe, had visible electrical issues, and badly needed wallpaper, bathroom, and ceiling repairs. We considered changing to somewhere else, but we could not because all our transfers were prearranged at that location. Every time we raised an issue to Travel by Monica during the trip, they had an excuse or blamed us. This was not good customer service. Because of Travel by Monica's, poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, and subpar thoroughness, I cannot recommend Travel by Monica to other travelers.
