Well damn, Jackie! I can't control the weather…read more I scheduled a night time tour of the Las Vegas Strip by helicopter. I bought the flight through Groupon. I called to schedule my flight about two weeks out. The goal was to fly on a Saturday evening. They had a 10:15 slot open. I showed up well in advance. The place was busy but the staff were friendly and inviting. They were also open and honest that they were running behind a bit. No worries. I'm there to enjoy myself and that I shall. Skyline has a good lobby area with a game room, water, coffee, vending machines. They even have massage chairs for a small fee. And some music playing that took me back to high school and early college days made this a reasonable place to spend the evening. Then nature happened. Out of nowhere there came a flash of lightning less than a mile away from the airport. That put everything into a holding patter. No flights out for at least the next hour. 30 minutes later it was raining hard and the wind was gusting. The crew called it. It was too dangerous to be flying. So I got rescheduled for the next day, Sunday, at 9:45. Fast forward to Sunday, the weather was much better. The place was much less crowded. Flights were almost on time. As I sat waiting for my flight I struck up a conversation with another single flyer. We would end up flying together. So now I have a new friend, Tina. She covered the photo package. I covered the tip. A fair trade. Trevor, our pilot, gave us a rundown of what to expect. Some bumps here and there. Where we were turning. A bit about what we were seeing. As I local I chimed in and pointed out UNLV. There wasn't much needless chatter between any of us but Trevor was spot on as to where we would expect turbulance. None of it was that bad but very much different than what you feel in a fixed wing plane. Helicopters tend to sway a bit and bounce like someone jumping in an elevator. A strange feeling but not terrible on the night I flew. Soon (too soon) we were back on the ground. The adventure over. An experience to remember for sure. I've been in most things that fly over the years. This was one of final things left. Not much more to fly in now. I am grateful to the crew at Skyline Helicopters for experience, the ease of scheduling, the concern for crew and passenger safety, and most of all their stellar customer service. Sure, this wasn't exactly a smooth and perfect experience but they can't control the weather. They did their best and were up front when things went south. Good on them.

My boyfriend booked us a private helicopter ride for my birthday, he…read morebooked for Sunday May 10th at 10pm, we arrived early around 9:30pm we had to sign some documents beforehand, they have some add on's that can be added to the ride such as a photo or even door's off if your adventurous, we added the photo. The setup in their lobby is awesome they have free games as well as vending machines with snacks and drinks and free coffee and hot cocoa and a tv as well, the staff is super nice and our pilot was outstanding! When it was our turn we went outside and took our picture and we were driven on a golf cart to the helicopter the gentleman explained to us how to approach the helicopter one at a time, safely buckled us in and gave us our headsets, we went around the whole strip, past The Strat and even over Fremont street such an amazing experience! The attention to safety and detail made it all worth it and how kind the staff was! I had an amazing memorable experience I can't wait to do this again but doors off this time!

Travel by Monica arranged for us to have private guides to popular sites, which was fabulous. It most definitely was the highlight of the trip. Second, Travel by Monica arranged for us to have private transfers between locations. Four of Five of these trips were great; the drivers were very courteous and safe. However, one was not, and several times during this trip, we thought he was going to get us killed. However, our main issue with Travel by Monica was the Hotels they selected. Since this was for our anniversary, we expected that Travel by Monica would have reviewed these locations and chosen wisely. However, only two of the five locations were satisfactory; two fell below our expectations, being cramped and needing repairs. Finally, there was one that was a complete disappointment. I have closets in my home that are larger than the room Travel by Monica booked us into. It was unsafe, had visible electrical issues, and badly needed wallpaper, bathroom, and ceiling repairs. We considered changing to somewhere else, but we could not because all our transfers were prearranged at that location. Every time we raised an issue to Travel by Monica during the trip, they had an excuse or blamed us. This was not good customer service. Because of Travel by Monica's, poor customer service, lack of attention to detail, and subpar thoroughness, I cannot recommend Travel by Monica to other travelers.

Adam provided me with almost an instant quote on Saturday evening ( Did not expect any response around that time at all :) ). I followed up with him and he tried other options for me as well. Since this was my first time booking business class ticket for myself and by myself, I did not know where does the service end. The answer I got was "When you are working with Adam, sit down and relax, let me work for you" :) Really looking forward to having my trip in 10 days. Thank you, Adam!

My flight ticket purchasing experience with their agent Dan Art is so horrible. I have never been…read moretreated by anybody like this before, not mentioning I am a customer. I post my claim last November with BBB, BTW, there are quite some complaints on BBB for the short one year they have opened. For what happened in short: 1, Dan Art misled me to book a ticket not on a date I need, and told me that I could change it later. 2, When I called to change the date, I learned not only there is $600 penalty, he raise the price difference to $2500 (starting from $500, then no more tickets, now has to pay $1000, eventually raise to $2500 price difference). Not mentioning he is extremely abusive verbally, twisting and putting words in your mouth. 3, I was so fed up dealing with them, and was going to keep the tickets and just get it done with. Then on the day of the flight, I learned that they had cancelled my tickets WITHOUT my written consent (Dan Art clearly told me that he needs my written consent to cancel MY tickets, apparently they can just cancel your ticket anytime). Imaging to learn your flight is cancelled the last minute. Their other manager, Frank know what kind of person Dan Art is, very obviously they had tons of complaints about him. Dan Art is so abusively verbally that nobody should tolerant. I learned my lesson in a hard way. This agency seriously misled public by putting on fake five stars reviews all over the internet, with all different agents' names. I say that because for the four months I had called them (many many times), there is always only Dan Art and Frank who answer the phone. There is never other agent who answer their 800 number. This is not even legal. I saw another reviewer here having same experience with Dan Art. I am looking into Legal Options for being The Victim of Paid or Fake Review. And I encourage those who also abused verbally by Dan Art to also stand out, so we can file this lawsuit all together.
