Great burgers!
Bill D.

Great little diner in the heart of Lusk. Establishment was spotless, including the restroom and kitchen (which is visible from the front), staff was very friendly and the burger and onion rings rocked it! To top it off, the owner came out and asked if everything was to our liking. Wow! Will definitely be back!

Great diner! It has a drive thru but we decided to go in and so cute! Was nice to visit with the owner--super nice! The steak burgers rank right up there as the best we've had! Lemonade was really good too! We have dogs traveling with us and they received some tasty milkbones too! Will definitely stop again!

Super clean!! perfect simple small menu. Has just what you need. Enjoyed the small chat with the owner. Perfect quick stop for our roadtrip to Yellowstone

Our spot was level, had a picnic table and all utilities worked fine. The internet is exceptionally good - which was surprising! There is a cute little park across the street with a playground if you have kids with you. We did not use the shower house as we are self contained. The campground is about 3 blocks off Main Street, so a little quieter than the small parks We did walk in to town to hit up Fobaires for a burger and fries- so put that on your list too.

On Wednesday I filled my Antelope tag and called Sheila I would be leaving in the morning instead of Saturday. I asked for credit for the 3 days I wouldn't be there, she told me no refunds. I thought this was very unfair, if she had told me this when I booked, I would have only booked day at a time. But be never had something like this happen and have stayed at some very nice hotels too. I think BJ's is a nice campground with mostly overnighters passing through, maybe this is why. I would stay there again, but be careful how you reserve a spot. Only 3 starts because of the billing BS.

We arrived around 4:45 pm and very few at the campground, though as nightfall came, there were a few others that stopped and were mostly out early in the morning. Very friendly and helpful check in. We had reservations but had our pick of spaces. I wish I had taken a photo of the showers - they were plenty big, had a chair and were very clean. This was wonderful for my 83 year old mother that wanted to refresh after a few days on the road. I was on the fence about a full 5 stars only because of the ants... crazy ants everywhere but I had non-toxic spray for the tent and sprayed around the picnic table. It didn't stop them all, but helped. We still have a few ants that managed to find a ride on our tent to our next stop. We all got a few mosquito bites as well -- something we forget about not having many on the West Coast. If you stay here, it is peaceful and the "Prairie View" name suits it well. Had we unhooked our RV we would have ventured into the quaint little town for some food. It is worth a look if you stay. Otherwise, it's no frills, but clean and friendly and will be a nice stop over on your travels.

The three-quarter pound burgers were giant and truly delicious as were their onion rings... Crispy and greasy - just the way I like them. Nice selection of local WY beers. We tried two of them. The place is dimly lit and not much to write home about, but that's what we expect from a dive: we loved it! If you are pretentious &/or woke, go away: this is NOT YOUR place. This is a down-home, locals hangout with the coolest local patrons and an hysterical bartender (she was awesome). In fact the day that we came, she was talking about a TikTok warning that the US was going to be bombed by Iran and the locals sitting at the bar were giving her a hella hard time about it - we sort of joined the comedy show as "table number six" (which is how the bartender referred to us throughout our visit) as we laughed along with them, giving this good natured bartender a hard time about the TikTok news; bantering back and forth about how much time we have left before Lusk was bombed . We left in a really good mood and we can't wait to go back - presuming the building is still standing (after we left to get out of Dodge before the 5 1/2 hour timeline before the bomb dropped. LMAO)! Definitely gonna be one of our stops every time we're in Lusk! 5-star dive bar experience!

That was me when I found myself rolling through Crawford, Nebraska and saw the sign for C's Drive in. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with my overall experience here. The couple who owns and operates the place are exceptionally friendly and are doing classic grease-pit burgers/fries/milkshakes etc but with a notably personal touch. I spent some time talking to them as the place wasn't busy when I arrived, and I can tell you that they are working hard and paying close attention to the food that they're serving. No cut corners, just a couple of people who understand the value of serving good food as a way to make a restaurant succeed. They are passionate. I learned about the way they source the curds for their cheese curds and how they batter and fry them to perfection. I learned about the quality of their beef for the burger patties and how they tried a few combinations before deciding on what they use, (which is delicious), I learned about broasted chicken which is a way that chicken is prepared that leads to a fantastic outcome, (think fried chicken, but more crispy, never dry and loaded with juices). I feel like I can say with confidence that if you stop here and place an order, that the person preparing it will be taking their time and paying attention in order to serve you something that they can be proud of. Classic menu, exceptional execution. Don't second guess it. I had a double bacon cheeseburger, hand cut curly fries and the cheese curds because they sounded so appealing. Would order it all again. Still thinking about those cheese curds every day. All in all this is place is a great example of how good simple things can be when the people behind them show up and care about what they're doing. If you're in the area do not second guess it. The prices are right, the food is pure comfort, and you will leave kind of shocked at the overall quality and value of the place. 5 stars.
