sweet potato fries and sauce (extra points for presentation in the flower pot)
Haley A.

This was my favorite restaurant that I have eaten at in Europe by far. We ate here off of a recommendation from a friend, and we were impressed. On a strip where there were many restaurants to choose from, FOC was the only one crowded at the time that we were eating, so that said a lot to us. Even while being crowded they got us in quickly. There was indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. The food was very reasonably priced, but the alcohol could've been cheaper. We had a strawberry sangria pitcher (1.5L) for 21€. It was delicious, but I definitely think it could be a little cheaper. For an appetizer we chose the sweet potato fries with brava sauce and we were not disappointed. It was served to us in a flower pot, so extra points for presentation. As far as main dishes, I had the tacos and my boyfriend had the Argentinian cut of steak. My tacos came with lime cream sauce, avocado, and lime slices. The steak cam with grilled vegetables and a dipping sauce as well. Our food was phenomenal. We debated going back a second day in a row just because it was so good! I absolutely will come back again when I am in Barcelona next.

Arapas x4. Very nice.

If you want to get of the tapas-trail, go here. Fantastic south American food. Very friendly staff. We had to sit inside since the outdoor was full. As soon as we got our appetizers they offered to move us out if we wanted to.

A plus for Barcalona. Short off... Lovely new place in the most busy area of Barca. Normally you wouldnt find me in streets like this. But they improved. The whole street it known by me as shabby, touristic, "get-as-many-ppl-in-your-restaurant-per-night-nomatter-what-quality" kind of places. Not my kind of style. But this place seems ok. Kinda busy day, no place outside, but the waiters are happy to relocate you when there is a table available outside. Okay, point one the hot bartender. Point two: It took long time to get something ordered. But you know, whatever? Its like 35 degrees outside and they have to work. Get a break. You wouldnt be running around like crazy either. What we ordered came quick, maybe there is airconditioning in the kitchen? Who will say! The burgers are good over here, and we had some nacho's. They where Nacho's the way they supposed to be, Beans, peppers, cheese, unions, nom. Definitely a good way to close a long day at the beach for something small. The tables are all small and close together, so much privacy isnt there. But like i said its a good and nice way to close a day at the beach eat something, have some refreshment. I maybe would go here for a lunch, but not for dinner or drinks. I rather go to different places.

Lovely peruvian food right near the beach that had many options for a vegan like myself! Staff was wonderful with a great & chill vibe! We came back twice on our weekend stay in Barcelona which says a lot!! You could tell the crowd was mixed with a lot of regulars that was just enjoying their espresso to a bigger posse of exchange students that was enjoying drinks & sharing nachos as a starter. Very nice autmosphere with good music & nice interior. I recommend everybody to pay this place a visit! I will be back for sure!

Longing for a taste of the US after eating tapas for too many days? Not sure where to snack on the promenade? Head to FOC & get their massive portion of nachos. They are soooo good! Sit inside or outside on the patio. We always sit outside. Check-in on FB & get a free shot. I've been many times while visiting Barcelona & even worked remotely from the sunny outdoor patio. Service was always good & fast. Sangria, beer, nachos....you will not be disappointed.

I had the quinoa bowl and an agua Fresca. Both everything I needed. My friend was sleeping back at the Airbnb and they are open late so I sat at the bar and the female bartender and male bartender were super friendly and attentive. They offer anything you'd want and it all smells and looks good. The quinoa bowl was one of the freshest I've had and it had so much in it with a refreshing lime & mint vinaigrette. I'm in Barcelona for another week and will definitely be going back to try other foods. Their drinks also look phenomenal. Edit: Ended up going back 5 more times. Amazing amazing amazing. Just go.

This was the only busy restaurant we walked past last night so we decided it must be good - we were right. I can't remember the exact spanish names on the menu but we ordered the ribs and a fish dish. The ribs came out sizzling hot and the meat practically fell off the bone as soon as I touched my knife to it. It was about half a rack (maybe more) and covered in barbecue sauce with more on the side. I ordered grilled veggies as a side and those were so good as well. The fish was tender and sat on some sort of cornbread thing covered with a mild peanut flavored sauce along with spinach, radishes, and sliced peaches - resulted in a unique flavor. There's indoor and outdoor seating (heated). Servers were very friendly. Beer is good. Come here if you are visiting the port and want a change from the typical Spanish dishes. I will say that it was pretty loud inside as it was packed and music was playing, but it is kid friendly as there were several families there with kids.

great food and the only non-tourist trap on the street. I had the entraña and papelon lemonade. The tequeños were great too.

Great food, strong drinks, good service. Seating was a bit crowded. Nice place to go at the end of the beach.

Big Mmmm!!! Great drinks, service and music. Always packed. Try the entrana (argentinian meat) which is probably the best value on the menu.

For those somewhat tired of tapas, the Brazilian fish stew and the burrito are great options.

Really enjoyed this bar and we can see why it's been named in the top 50 bars…read more The bartender was really engaging with the people which we enjoyed. The drinks were 8/10 The ambiance was generic but we had a good time. Definitely recommend trying it.

Wow did we want to give this place 5 stars…read more The bartenders were great and welcoming and the decor was very cool. It is a pleasant place to be physically. All of the cocktails we tried were excellent (we had two more not featured on photos here). We went Sunday 4/19 around open (5pm ish until 7:30 ish). However, our experience was sort of ruined when a female employee came over and chided my wife and two other American patrons we were talking to for being too loud. They weren't being particularly loud and at this point we were the only four people sitting at the bar itself. She was not a bartender (at that time at least) and she completely ruined our vibe with this complaint. She had been eyeing one of the other American patrons we had been talking to before she came over and confronted my wife after she laughed. The bar tenders didn't seem to be aware this happened and when we were closing out they remarked they didn't think we had been loud and that they like their guests to have fun. This female employee apparently didn't get the memo! We sense that perhaps she just dislikes Americans, which would be rich for working at an establishment like this! She also had no issues when a dog other guests brought in barked loudly multiple times, each time silencing the entire bar because the barks were so booming. The other American couple felt the same way -- the stern talking to just ruined the experience for all four of us. So... great spot but our experience was unnecessarily tarnished by a jerk employee!!!
