I called in and got a mod kit ordered in from Foggy Gorilla Red Deer. When it got in they called me and I went to go grab it. The location is mint, right between the Tilted Kilt and Tim Hortons so parking is a snap too. Smells great in there and the lady working that day was really cool to deal with. She was keen to the latest tech and helpful in recommending flavors of e juice which I ended up choosing the FG house brand in butterscotch and 7 Up as well. Oh me oh my like grammas pudding and wash it down with a refreshing bubbly glass of 7 Up. I can't even fathom why smokers choose chemicals and ash flavor over vape yummieness. There was no rush in choosing a brand or flavor, it felt like a place where I could hang out and vape while learning a bit more about the latest and greatest in the vape community. When I got home I had a question about my mod and new batteries so I called em up and again she helped me out and had me chuckin clouds in no time. Brand new to Vapeing! Went into FG in AIRDRIE and wasn't sure what I was gettin into. Was met with super courtesy and after I explained that I knew nothing, have been smoking for 50 years ( yep that's right! 50! I've been smoking since they said it was good for you!) and that I had heard about it as a quit smoking aid, I was treated to a one hour intro to the do's and dont's of Vapeing, the good the bad and the ugly, costs and considerations. I felt that I was being treated as a friend rather than just a customer. Was able to try a starter kit...a number of different juices and strengths, and we finally came up with what we figured would work for me. Only been at this for 3 weeks but haven't had a cig since that day. Highly recommended by an old guy who appreciates being treated well and with respect! (So Endeth the lesson!) Don't know how to add a another review...so I just added to this one! 7 weeks now....no cigs...Vapeing is S so easy and best thing I did in a very long time. Hit up this place after stopping by Calgary store to pick up gift for my husband. I know close to nothing about vaping but staff at both locations were extremely helpful. Came to the airdrie location after discovering they had a airdrie location. Fantastic prices and great selection of juice. the 2 gents I dealt with were friendly and really helpful. Very much appreciated their time in helping me and answering my questions despite being busy trying to get things set up (they had recently moved from their Main Street location). Their kindness, patience and professionalism did not go unnoticed. FG is my go to spot for all things vaping related. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. Holy jeepers what a great place. My wife bought a I stick 50w about 2 months ago and it had troubles. the exchanged no questions asked. the new one had some trouble ( might have been user error ) another exchange / upgrade. when we go in there it is like seeing family we haven't seen in months. We chat, play, joke, talk about life in general. Then we forget we're buying new goodies and have another laugh.
