My dog pooped when he went in the door because he's always nervous when he gets groomed. My daughter-in-law Kim comes with me to take our dogs. Kim picked up Harley's poop & put it in a plastic bag that was provided. Because there was no container right outside the door (by the steps) like there normally is, Kim put the bag with poop on the counter. Tosha went off on Kim about putting the plastic bag on the counter & said for her to walk up to the entrance at the top of the hill to put it in the yellow garbage bin. Tosha continued yelling & even used the "F" word & said we're lucky that she didn't throw the poop bag on my car. I have never experienced that kind of treatment by any other employee at the Doggie Lodge & today will be my last day as a customer with 2 dogs. Lisa came over to introduce herself to me AND Cleo. I was delighted to find out Lisa and her pet sitters would actually visit with Cleo - take the time to care for her in ways beyond pouring food in the bowl or walking. It has been immensely reassuring to receive text updates and pictures each time a visit occurs. When I get back, Cleo is calm and happy to see me - not trembling like the time I picked her up from the vet's.
