When we walked in, the restaurant felt so warm and cozy, like we had just entered someone's home (fitting for the restaurant name). It must have been our lucky day, as they have one table they set aside for walk-ins by the front door, and it was free and ours! The table was different than the rest of the tables in the place. Imagine a living room set-up - the table was lower like a coffee table and the chairs were comfy arm chairs, and we sat next to the window filled with hanging plants and greenery. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, though - we watched countless people be turned away at the locked door since they were fully booked up. But we didn't feel rushed at all - the host/owner spent the time with us to go over the entire menu and his wine recommendations - I landed on a bottle of vinho verde that was bright and crisp. He and his Brazilian chef wife created a menu that is a fusion of their two cultures, and the food is outstanding.
