I actually met the owner, Karen, on a shuttle bus at a NY tradeshow last year. When I got on the shuttle, there was a seat open next to her and I took it. We got to talking and realized that we live close to each other. She was telling me how she is opening up her 2nd clothing boutique in Medford. I finally stopped in there last night (after my visit to the DMV). I wasn't planning on it but happened to see the sign and made a beeline for the 1st available spot. I have been meaning to get there since she opened. WOW! Was I glad I stopped. I had no idea what I was in for. I get so excited when I walk into a store and my heart starts to pound - I know I found a little treasure. That's what happened when I walked into Sandy Banks. So much to look at, so much to touch and so much to try! Her lines are classy and tailored, trendy and hip and fun & easy clothing for women - quality and very stylish finds....of course I ended up buying some stuff! I found a cozy fitted short sweater that buttons up and has a v-neck with a foldover collar and is a marled brown/ivory color. SOFT!! I also picked up a cool retro design makeup bag AND a rope bracelet that is black leather with a silver open square in the center. The clearance was full of many different dresses in all sizes. I thought they were a percentage off, but they rang up as $15 each, which was a steal! The one girl at the register I believe was new because she told me they were final sale. However when I got home and looked at my receipt it showed they weren't.
