With flashing lights to entice passers by, Fone Zone rather reminded me of what the Gadget Shop used to do to me. The use of flashin LEDs is clearly something that really reaches out to me, for some reason. I had to take a closer look. Whether their business methods are legit or not, I'm not questioning, but they sell mobile phones, offer unlocking services, sell chargers and bluetooth hands-free headsets, memory cards for your digital camera, and last but by no means least, FASCIAS! This made me smile, as I found myself drifting back to having my first Nokia, thinking it cool to whack a luminous tacky plastic cover on it to express my individuality! Fone Zone is a great thing to have. If you do end up ever needing your phone unlocked, just to know where your local 'phone unlocker' is, I deem, very useful!

On arriving home, I checked the receipt of goods ticket with both amounts totalling £0.00. I can only assume that the store have decided that I don't deserve the money for the items I sold. Should have sold on eBay. EDIT: further to the response from Cex. Both phones were immediately priced with the HTC U11 being labelled at £82.00 and put straight on the shelf for sale. I was told I would receive £46.50 for both phones. £5.00 was deducted per phone to add a charging lead. As I haven't received a penny for the phones, technically I still own them. I'll let any reader of this review draw their own conclusions re the ramifications of such actions.

The member of staff was very friendly and I enjoyed a good conversation about all thing Hi-Fi. They do all the bits of equipment you can imagine for home entertainment. Prices range from moderate to hi-end. Chances are if you go here you want the 'proper stuff'.

On top of this it has a vast range of electrical products from Hi-Fis, monitoring equipments, T.Vs and projectors, speakers and millions of accessories. The have a network of shops around the UK and can offer expert advice on the products they offer. Not cheap but quality service.

Whilst outside the 30 day right to refund and return stipulated under the 2015 Consumer Act this is well within the six month period in which it is the retailers responsibility, not the manufacturers, to either fix or replace the item. Gotchs failed to recognize this and told us we had to go to the manufacturer. This is very unhelpful and I'll-informed customer service. This really does need rectifying as Gotchs will lose customers.

Gotch's is an electrical store selling very much what you would expect in the likes of Curry's on Gowthorpe. Gotch's is a family run business that has built up a good reputation amongst the locals not only for its goods but also for it excellent sales and after sales service. The Interior is larger than you would think with a range of house hold appliances as well as ranges in TV's and music. In the past we have brought a freezer and a tumble dryer, and that's even after shopping around for prices. The prices are too similar to bother with the big companies and its nice to support a Selby business over the national stores.

I went into Briggate CPW store and spent a considerable amount of time having "phone counselling" with Tim, he was very helpful well informed and patient with me and nothing was too much trouble. I left the store far better informed and with an action plan to solve my problems) A couple of days later after getting no further with my issue, there was a further development and I called into the store again. As Tim was not available, I was assisted by Luke. I found Luke to be understanding, helpful and supportive and he was really helpful. As it appears I had been mis-sold a phone by the first CPW store, Luke and his Manager agreed to allow me to return the phone. Really impressed with Briggate store and found Customer service to be at it's finest on both of my visits. Have previously kind of avoided CPW as it always seems so full of happening young cool guys and that's just the staff) Would fully recommend the Team here to all and especially Tim and Luke, well done Guys!
