And sure there some special cases with certain kids acting a certain way but what school doesn't have that. Fontana offers many sports to get students involved and hold high standards to both students and student athletes. Even though fohi itself is outdated the changes they undergo is new and diverse like the bleed maroon movement were many students began to have school spirit as well as many activates clubs and things to do. Sure some actives may not be fun or students dont participate but the School is still trying many things to get students involved more. The school has great staff and many counselors. Some people may say that the staff is terrible but each has their own way of teaching and students dont bother to ask the teacher but instead just blame them indicating that their teaching is bad also we have staff that help us and actually talk about what the real world is and not just going based on the standards they need to go but they also add things stuff that will be beneficial to your students life after high school but like all high schools there are staff who dont really care but still it doesn't give the student the right to just blame the staff member that's just how every school is but when you get to experience fohi and other schools you'll see that fohi has school spirit like none other and its a really great place however it does have its problems but like any other school they try their best to get around them and will continue to do so until it becomes the ideal school for anyone

My daughter was given an edible at school that sent her to the ER by ambulance, yet the school called and told me she was only vomiting and needed to be picked up upon arriving at the school and picking her up. She was clearly disoriented. My husband couldn't make it a few blocks away from the school before having to pull over and call the paramedics because she was not responding to not even her name yet the health office Claims she was responding and very coherent. Her pupils were dilated her breathing was shallow, and when I called the question the health office about who assessed her symptoms I was told she was fine mind you the moment she stepped out of the health office walking to the front to be checked out she could not even walk straight bumping into the walls the whole way. The same evening I received a compassionless call from the principal himself asking how she's doing. I advised I'm not sure we are still in the emergency room. He advised that he would follow up with me the next day, but that day has now come and gone still with no follow up. It's a very sad situation where you can't trust your kid to be taken care of in the school setting. The worst part of it all is there is no consequences for the children when they get caught with drugs. My child also got hold of a marijuana vape on campus and when she got caught with it, no consequences only she had to take one phone call with the program called Y vape through UC San Diego completely useless. They talked to her for a matter of minutes not sure how this is helping the student students at all.
