It's quite popular inside although the selection is small compared to the overall warehouse size. Many of the Asian snacks, drinks and other food items seemed to be only a few bucks less than the normal grocery store prices during sales. We checked the best before dates carefully before deciding whether to make a buy which we ultimately didn't. Skip it or hit it? Despite the popularity, we won't be back to support in spite of the intrigue.

There was an unappetizing smell going on around the open "salad bar". And the prepared food was ridiculously expensive for what it was. The WORST was the cashier who looked desperately unhappy, and even after us thanking her (politely), did not respond. Even a grunt of acknowledgement would have been better. Large variety of everything you can think about is here. Prices are more expensive here but you really do pay for what you get. It's not just the products, it's also the customer service in my opinion. Cashiers are happy and will actually smile at you when checking out. Parking situation is a tad annoying since it's at First Markham Place, and it's always busy here. Overall, worth the hectic parking lot and the amount of people. I hadn't been here in years and felt it was time to check it out again. I had no problem finding a spot. I backed into one. With my umbrella protecting me from the rain, I headed inside the store to shop. This store has a Starbucks. There used to be a standalone Starbucks store nearby that I liked. It shuttered for good. It's good to know that if I need one, I can come here. I needed celery. The celery looked sad here. It looked abused and bruised. Poor celery. It was slim pickings, but I got some. There were some other items that were in better shape. Mushrooms were great. The hydrangeas looked healthy blooming away. The dairy-free beverage section made me happy. This store has a Joe Fresh section. I like browsing to figure out what styles are cool. The downside to Joe Fresh clothing is that articles that I have purchased in the past don't last long. I find that the quality isn't great. This place has portabella jerky. It isn't cheap, but it's nice seeing meatless alternatives. I was also happy with the Russell Stover candy varieties. I love this brand so much. I headed to the checkout and had a nice woman assist me. I paid with a debit card. I scanned my PC Optimum barcode from my phone. All went well. Just recently they revamped their store and became half of what they used to be, with an Eyelash/beauty place on the other side. They used to carry a lot of non-perishable food items, basically serving as a lower quality Shoppers Drug Mart. I don't mind the smallness of it, but it's weird how it's still a sketchy-old-grungy environment. That being said, I still go here for all the late night ice cream cravings, buying scratch cards, and picking up any last minute needs. Service is eh, but it's okay for a convenience store. In and out.

I'll definitely be putting mine to good use on my upcoming travels and outdoor adventures. As always, Trader Joe's delivers on the things I love most - a clean, well-organized store, friendly staff, and a fun selection of products that always seems to lead to a some impulse purchases - whoops! The only reason for four stars instead of five is the parking lot. Like many Trader Joe's locations, it can be a bit of a challenge, especially during busy times. Fortunately, I lucked out on both of my recent visits and found spots without much trouble. Overall, another great Trader Joe's location. Everyone was happily browsing around looking at fresh produce, baked goods, the rows of house made ice cream I found the aisles somewhat narrow, so leave anything you don't need to bring with you in the car. Their cookies here are baked in house and delicious as well. I often come here during the holidays for herbs as well, since herbs seem to sell out quickly at larger grocery stores. They really have everything that you need here. Butcher section also has great quality meat. As for their ice cream pints at the back of the store - you MUST get some! They are so delicious with unique flavours, some even with an Asian twist.
