It came out of the kitchen very warm and it had pretty good amount of coarse salt crystals. Of course, it had just the right texture of chewiness. Schwäbische bratwürst (a.k.a. naked bratwurst) was a little on a bland side (as is often the case with this type [weißwürsts] of bratwürsts tend to be for the lack of spices and herbs), but the gravy it came with was excellent and saved the whole dish. Also, I would've preferred to had my Nürnberger bratwürst grilled a little longer, but they tasted very good nonetheless. Serving was very generous for the money (you'll be the judge from my photos). All the side dishes: bacon-fried potatoes, sauerkraut with bacon pieces (unique) and traditional potato salad were excellent. Of course, when you mix anything with bacon, you know, it has to be good. Service was prompt. I felt our server was a little abrupt, but she was very efficient. I thought considering Ulm being a part of Schwäbische culinary territory, they did Bavarian sausages pretty well. Their menu items are very extensive.
