I wish I could put zero stars. Dr. Reyhani was great until there were complications. He had a great bedside manner, and I really liked him He did surgery to remove a bone spur the next day. I went to the ER in excruciating pain. He never called or showed up. Long story short (too late, I know). I got a huge infection, and he put a hard cast over the infection. I'm not a medical professional but you tell me, where will an infection go if it's sitting a hard cast and can't breathe? That's right, straight to the bone. I ended up septic with 104 fever. He did not come to see me one time. He sent his partner and who saw me for like five minutes and did nothing. I had to find another doctor and the hospital to operate and clean out the infection. Unbelievable! I ended up being on IV antibiotics for several months, which had a side effect of tearing tendons. It's been five years, and I am still dealing with torn tendons in my ankles. If you need ankle or foot surgery please go to an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in feet and ankle. That is my biggest regret in this whole situation. FYI for those of you who have inadequate insurance-Just wanted to post about Foot & Ankle Centers of Texas located in League City. Office visit $350, x-ray $90 (resonable), cortisone shot $3 (nice), to administer the shot $167 (WHAT!!), follow up visit $283( just asked "How does it feel?"). This doctor was on my list of approved doctors. This is just INSANE! That was almost 2 years ago, and they send me a bill for $15.97. I feel so badly for people who have no idea what they are going to be charged until it is a done deal! Where else does a consumer purchase something but have no idea how much it costs. read more

I am astonished at the complete unprofessional behavior of the nurses/admin staff at Foot and Ankle. Dr. Patil himself was fine when I went to see him. He examined me, had me do all the MRIs and xrays and diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis. After PT and orthotics didn't work he gave me three rounds of cortisone shots in each foot. I was still in a considerable amount of pain-- unable to do anything other than a light walk. This is where it all went down hill. Fast. Dr. Patil suggested extracorporeal shockwave therapy, something I was familiar with as my mother had it done for her plantar fasciitis back in Pennsylvania a few years ago and had had good results. So Dr. Patil writes me a referral. But when I go I find they DON'T EVEN HAVE THE THERAPY there. And the woman at the PT place said she even called Dr. Patil's office a few days prior because she saw "extracorporeal shockwave therapy" written on the referral and wanted to let the doctor know he made a mistake. Instead, she gets one of the "nurses" from Dr. Patil's on the phone, explains the situation and the nurse said "to just see her anyway." I was livid as I rearranged my schedule for the first available appointment due to my pain, paid my copay, only to be told they don't have what I came here for. I called Dr. Patil's office and explained what happened. When I told the front desk that the PT person called their office and was told to 'see her anyway' I was met with instant attitude. (and believe me, I was raised that you get more with sugar than spice, so I was actually quite friendly even though I was pretty annoyed). The owman on the phone replied to me with "well he sent you there because he thought they would have the equipment." He's a doctor making a referral-- he should KNOW, not think, what equipment a place has before he sends his patients. And THEN Dr. Patil's office tells me that I, not her or the doctor, need to call my insurance to see where I could get the therapy. I try to tell her several times that it isn't a therapy covered by insurance but she won't let me talk. She just gets louder and talks over me. FINALLY when she finishes her diatribe about insurance and how its on the carrier to figure this out and not her, I inform her about insurance not even mattering. Her response?-- "Oh. I didn't know that." Well, she would've, if she'd bothered to listen. I can't believe I did not even get a 'sorry about that' or 'let me look into this for you', etc. Instead I was immediately made to feel like this was my problem, not the doctors. After being knocked down a peg about the insurance thing, the woman said she'd talk to the doctor and get back to me. She did, only to say the doctor doesn't know of any place else off the top of his head so I should do a google search and find one on my own. A. Google. Search. Well I did. I searched "places to leave reviews for incompetent doctor's and their staff." Thanks for the tip Foot and Ankle. read more

I took my uncle to see the doctor here and the way the staff treated him was uncalled for and rude. You should not work here if you do not know how to treat people especially the elderly. The lady who picks up the phone was also rude when I called about the appointment in general she cut me off and was very unprofessional. I wish I can also give a zero star rating like a lot of these other reviews are saying. I work in a pharmacy and fill a lot of the prescriptions they send over. First off, they send over the scripts wrong. I don't mind calling and asking for the information, but as soon as they answer you can just tell they want you off the phone as soon as they pick up. They make it sound like it is our fault they sent us the wrong information. The staff does not even let me get a sentence out before they rudely reply with "what do you want?" You are Working in an environment where you have to have good customer service, If you have a problem outside of work, do not take it out on every single phone call you get. And it is not just this one-time experience, it is every time that I call to fix THEIR mistake. I do not even write reviews at all, so this blows my own mind that I am typing this now. Worst Dr. / staff I've ever met. If I could leave zero stars I would! I had a toothpick stuck in my foot and I was referred by the UTMB health down the street, who attempted to take it out & took X-rays (which the toothpick wouldn't show up in). When Dr. Reyhani took a look at my foot all he did was take another X-ray (still didn't show up) and asked if I could come back in a week! WAY too long to have that sucker in my foot, if you ask me. Depriving me from work, just to make more appointments. All they care about is your money! They do not know how insurance works! I have met my deductible, meaning I don't have a copay for the rest of the year. When I tried to explain that to them, they forced me to call my father to get his card information or else I couldn't leave. When I explained to them that he was at work and that they should call the insurance company to verify what I was saying was true.. they would do anything but that! I went out of that office balling my eyes out because they were THAT rude! I called the insurance company when I got home and indeed, I have no copay . The next day, I called to cancel my Monday appointment and the front desk asked when I was coming to pay. I told her to call the insurance company and she said she had spoke to them already, which I knew was a lie because I had just got off of the phone with them. Long story short: save your time bc they are ignorant where they shouldn't be. Mont Belvieu Bayside Clinic took it out as soon as they seen it! I had some pain in my left heel for a couple months so I finally decided to get it looked at. I had done some research online and figured it wasn't anything major, but I still decided to make an appointment to get my foot looked at. When I saw Dr. Reyhani he had inspected my foot and asked me a couple of questions. After looking at the X-ray he diagnosed it as a mild case of plantar fasciitis. He injected my foot with a steroid and showed me some heel and calf stretches that would help. My foot was feeling better almost immediately and I am so happy I came to them. The whole experience was very quick and efficient. Thanks for the help guys! read more

I spoke with Stephanie who gave me an appointment and I asked her to let me know how much I would have to pay out of pocket before I saw the physician. I called the next day and Mandy answered the phone, she didn't know anything about my insurance, she was only guessing and throwing out dollar amounts at me, I then told her that I changed my mine and will see my MD first to get his opinion to see if I really need to see a surgeon. This rude individual (Mandy) proceeds to tell me, well thanks for letting us call your insurance company and not keeping the appointment and slams the phone on my ear stating it in a sarcastic manner. I immediately called back, the phone is picked up and slammed again. I called again and someone by the name of Sara answered, I told Sara I wanted to speak with the office manager or the doctor. I gave her my name and number but of course I didn't get a call back. There probably isn't a Sara might have been Mandy because of unprofessional attitudes I would rate them a big fat zero. read more
