Then they said their reason for not calling me is because I already had a follow up appointment scheduled the following week. The surgery recovery staff had an attitude and rushed me to hurry up and wake up from recovery. He took the stitches out but cut my foot ugly. Like he rushed the work or experimented with my foot. Now the stitches are out you can see an infection is taking place. The doctor seem to have a don't care attitude since he already got paid from the Military. Tri-care paid him long before. Then I call to address my concern and be really didn't seem to care about my infection except the fact that he could prescribe me antibiotic. I had to call multiple times before they closed for the weekend. Otherwise I would of had to go to the ER to keep from The infection getting worse. I'm on the verge of filing a long suite

I think it just appears that way becuase there are a total of four Dr's and two midwifes all in the same office. You walk in and it's packed, but they aren't all there to see Dr. Dandade. I have a feeling that his office will move to a larger location, especially since the hospital is now under construction.

It's much more convenient to get into the office then the downtown location especially when you're on crutches and don't want to hop far. The receptionists are very nice and each time I've gone the wait time is far from horrible (downtown the wait can easily be a good hour). I've continued to see Dr. Racca, this time for a knee injury. He's the best of the best what can I say. He genuinely cares. His staff is fantastic too. His office admin Ali is phenomenal she responds to calls promptly and always is cheerful and helpful. I don't wish anyone the need to see an orthopaedic but if life leads you to need to see one this is the place.

The issue is that the procedure was performed early in the year on Jan 8th, meaning I was responsible for the $280 medicare deductible (which was taken from my bank and paid directly to NM Ortho). Anyway, they claim that I owe $280 . . . even though I had the bank record that stated the amount in question was paid and a statement from medicare stating that it was paid to directly to NM Ortho . . . however, for some reason, it had been credited to a Dr McGee (?) who, to my knowledge, had nothing to do with the surgery. In any event, they still said that I owe the $280, so we faxed up all the documentation that should have proven that we had fulfilled our financial obligation to NM Ortho. Two weeks ago we received a phone call asking me about the $280 once again. The medical staff was absolutely terrific however dealing with the billing department is a highly frustrating and an unnecessary headache.

As a retired physical therapist who has worked in many nursing homes, this one stands way above any other I have worked in or visited in the last 40 years. My dad has been happy with his care, the food, and the respect shown him on a daily basis. And we are thrilled with the staff's care and their ability to answer any questions quickly and professionally. Other nursing homes need to visit the Suites to learn how they should be providing care.
