They were super nice to her and helped her right away. Very patient and understanding. They got her on her way with a new pair of runners and explained the return policy. I've actually bought 4 of the last 5 pairs of shoes that I've purchased this year here. Part of the…read morereason I've purchased so many shoes this year is that I've worn a considerable number of shoes out lately. I get great service from Maria when I go there, and even when they have sales (that may be at other geographic locations) I don't mind searching the store for a pair of shoes that would be adequately awesome for my needs because I know that they only sell GOOD QUALITY shoes that will be mostly comfortable for my feet. While I am a woman who wears skirts and dresses more often than not, I am unlikely to wear uncomfortable footwear and Sole Experience carries so many styles of comfortable yet attractive footwear that I've had the pleasure of buying a good number of shoes here and have worn three of these pairs straight out of the store without needing to really break them in (unlike many of my purchases made elsewhere. While I do shop elsewhere for shoes on occasion, Sole Experience is the reason I look out for particular brands and styles and have a better understanding of what fits my feet best. Shoe purchases are never stress/worry free for me, but I've had more luck than not while shopping here, both for flats and for heeled shoes, including sporty styles and more fashionable shoes.

Last year I bought a great pair of Cambrians and now the Velcro has become frayed. As well the…read morestraps always were a little long, so I called them up and asked about getting new Velcro sewn on. They said no problem $10 per strap and they can also shorten up the straps, trim them after new Velcro is sewn in shortened location. And it would only be ready overnight, so next day. I go there and yup now problem, we'll put new Velcro on the tops strap in properly shortened spot. And well move the bottom one's over and shorten it up. Be two days. And $10 per strap. 4 days later it's finally ready. I get thanked for extra time and he says he took a short cut. I get the original Velcro because it wasn't bad at all, just needed a little TLC. And it simply CUT and sewn back together albeit it is "shortened" . As well hey didn't do anything about the bottom one's, just sewed a through it so if I wanted to cut it off I could. I was dumb struck, he just ruined a good pair of Cambrians. Simply cut the strap and sewed it back. Now if the patch job comes loose I have no straps. Their ruined, every time I put them on or off it catches and I have to move the strap over the doubled up area. All for a low price of just $10. I was so so dumbfounded I just paid the $10 and got out of there, the damage was done and the shoe was ruined. Never ever get any work their, they may take another "short cut" and ruin your shoes. Avoid at all costs.

I was super exited when I saw such a well rated orthotic shop so close to home. I am a worker with…read morefull orthotic custom shoe coverage and it was my first time shopping for fitted shoes. I really did not know how to go about it or how the process worked. I was hoping the shop employees would be able to walk me through it. When I went into the shop I went to the front and told them about the prescription I had for custom orthotics and that it was my first time purchasing such shoes. The employee told me to go look at the shoes and let her know what I liked. (Up to there was great). However, the shop was loud, they kept speaking non-English language and laughing with each other, I felt like I would disturb them if I asked questions but still hoped to be assisted. I went up to the front and told them that I liked a pair of shoes, they asked me what size I was. I told them my size but they did not have it in stock, I was hoping they would measure my feet to make sure I would find the perfect size so I would not get blisters at the back of my heels. I went to look around for another pair because I wanted to purchase a shoes that day, but I ended up leaving because I felt too confused and uncomfortable. All in all I am surprised to say that I have gotten far better service at Sports Check, where the employees come up to you and offer their assistance (they even measure your feet if you are not sure of your size in their brands). Super disappointed.

It was clean and organized but be prepared to pay $200-$1000 for a pair of shoes here depending on what brand you pick. The two stars fully comes from customer service. When I walked into to purchase, I wasn't greeted, told about the sale further. No one approached me until I was putting a shoe on my foot, that's when I had someone come over to act like I was important (keep in mind the store wasn't busy either and there were probably 5 employees working). The woman offered to order them for me from BC since my size wasn't in. Fast forward 5 days and my shoes are in, I walk in with my proof of purchase in hand. Again, store isn't too busy, lots of staff. I went right to the front counter and waited to pick up my order. A staff member comes up to ring out a customer waiting to pay.. After she rings her through she completely walked away and left me standing there clearly needing help. I literally had to almost wave a hand in her face and be like "can someone help me pick up the shoes I ordered and PAID for". Overall super bad customer service.
