I don't get massages often. Maybe once a year. That being said this was the BEST massage I've ever had. It is unusual for a few reasons: You stay fully clothed. This could be a big plus for some. My friends usually go commando but they didn't mind. The reflexology part is awesome! I don't understand it but I like it. You start on your back. If you have back problems bring support or put a pillow underneath. Maybe don't soak your feet?? You will be in a room with other people but I didn't really even think about as the massage started. I was really impressed when I found this place. It was decorated very nicely and had really professional individuals working here. It was hard to find, as it is somewhat hidden in a corner. I went back s second time and found it. They are open until 9:00 PM which is very nice. I like going in the evenings. I expected a foot massage but it was much more. It stayed fully dressed. Was able to roll up my pant legs for the massage. He started at my head with the massage. Did my shoulders, arms and hands. A nice surprise. He also did my upper back Xmas neck. Certainly an odd experience to walk in to a room full of others being pampered, but the reflexology worked so well! I often get a cramp in my foot when I've been on the treadmill for a while and the day after this treatment, I felt like I could keep going for a while longer! The massage was also great. Wow. I walked in expecting to receive a massage, and walked out feeling like I could take on the world. My masseuse, lets call him Steven, hand the hands of an angel. It started off very much as expected. Some massaging over different parts of my body, nothing out of the ordinary. Little did I know he was just getting me warmed up. He worked his way around my neck and shoulders, carressing each and every muscle so precise, it was like watching a ballerina move across me. He would dance his hands around my body until he found each and every sore spot. Steven then would stretch me into a pretzel with my legs crossed over my head and my arms wrapped around my butt. I think at one point Steven actually levateted my body from the bed. Once he unfolded my body he returned his godly hands to each and every muscle, following a road map that he left behind. When he reached his destinations there was no longer pain. Time felt like it was standing still and I had reached complete bliss. My body had given in and I was no longer in control, I farted. Me and Steven shared a little giggle, and like a true professional continued his way down to my feet. He wrapped me up like I was hugging my self, he somehow knew I was struggling with self love, because everytime my arms would fall to my side he would give me a gentle but firm punch to the bottom of my foot, reminding me that I am a bad bitch. I started off less than thrilled- they had me lay on my back with me feet off the edge in a tub of warm water while they massaged my face, head, and neck with lotion. Being on my back, it was awkward having them do my shoulders and just didn't feel great. Then he moved onto my feet, which I could tell was their specialty with reflexology. Masseur reeked of cigarette smoke and had a very bad bronchial cough which was horrible when he would cough over me while giving me the massage.
