I recommend any victims needing an officer whom is sensitive to your needs and situation to file your intake report with Officer Hewitt. I sincerely hope whomever is reading this from LAPD take my suggestion seriously. Unfortunately, my report needed to be forwarded to the N Hollywood division, which I was upset about, bc I wanted Van Nuys PD to do the detective work on this case. It was alot harder then I thought it would be, but fun. It really puts things in a different perspective when you learn more about what the police are faced with everyday out there and gives you a genuine appreciation for them not just as officers but as people like you and me, with families who worry if they are coming home everyday they work. You have a 1 in 52 chance of becoming a victim of crime, far lower than Eureka = 1 in 16 chance. Why does Sylmar have such a bad rap? Very likely because it doesn't have Nike store.
