As a family we were hesitant to put him into childcare for the first time as he was only with family. At that time in 2021, the program was reopening from the COVID-19 closures, and it was a small flourishing community. The teachers and staff were all so kind and we felt comfort in sending our child to Kantor Early Childhood Education Center. Fast forward to 2025, my child is now 5, getting ready to graduate from the Pre-K classroom. He loves school and his teacher Ms. Aria (shoutout to her, seriously one of a kind!!) My youngest is 20 months and he is exceeding my expectations on his early development. His teacher speaks Spanish to him daily and he is now speaking some Spanish at home. Thank you Ms. Diana! It has been a beautiful experience to see this school go through so many transformations. The program offers half and full day options, early drop off before school and afternoon care to help accommodate working families. It also includes Spanish and Hebrew embedded into the daily classroom curriculum. As well as daily live music and movement, Judaics and play-based learning. The campus is a closed-secured campus with a security guard. Staff and security know all of the families that arrive and you can feel safe leaving your precious one here. The director Farrah Tomaro has been amazing, responsive and is always open to parental feedback. Farrah and her staff truly understand the importance of early brain development and meeting children where they are developmentally. There are many options for childcare in Henderson, but nothing compares to Kantor Early Childhood Education Center! This program has so much to offer. You will not be disappointed.

My son is in first grade and he's currently reading at a Second grade level most likely by the end of the year he will be able to read a third-grade level. If one of your major concerns is the school systems in Nevada I would definitely recommend Pinecrest Academy. They have multiple campuses know and are opening up a high school. Today was the honors assembly and I would say about half of the k-2 received the award.

I get it my daughter elopes and has her bad days but instead of making her feel better and to try again they had me pick her up second week of school labeled her a safety concern and suggested restraints.. Car loop sucks for special ed parents considering their kids gate is 0..the last one which i had to tell them every time because they would forget or not notice when i write it on our car loop tag. Special education teacher is full of excuses and can't handle special ed kids period. I don't think they've had children with severe autism and it shows. Now she is getting what she needs from CCSD and is improving already

Cindy and Marissa were diligent on ensuring to notify us if it weren't myself or my husband picking up my daughter (when my sisters are practically a spitting image of me). Academics - Each teacher follows a very organized curriculum, weekly themes with word association, daily art work, etc... Norah picked up on all of this so quickly it made me so glad we decided to enroll her. Teachers! I appreciate the daily updates and the teachers being so level headed and down to earth. They never gave the run around about anything. The patience they have is something I wish I could bottle-up and take home. I don't write this review lightheartedly. It has been some time since my children last attended…read morekids r kids at this location, and the reason I waited so long to write this review, was to make sure that I wasn't writing this out of anger. My oldest son attended kids r kids for 6 months, and then I pulled him out due to my maternity leave. After 3 months, I brought him back along with my new second baby. The first 6 months, I didn't have much concerns. Yes, he was constantly sick, he even contracted impetigo at one point from a classmate. But, this is daycare and at the age where everyone was putting things in their mouths. He did constantly have reports of other children bitting him, which my husband and I were very patient with. The assured me that they had talked to the parents, etc. He had a great teacher that showed him lots of love and I had great camera access. We had good rapport with the front office. We were never late to pick up our son. We always paid in full, on time. We did not complain. We complied by all the rules. We were flexible and understanding. Fast h to when we bring the babies back from my leave. My son was moved to a new classroom. Before coming back, I had a conversation with Mrs. Cindy about my concern for the transition, as my son was not verbal yet. On day 2 of returning, I get stopped as I was leaving the facility from pick up. I get handed a pamphlet by Mrs. Donna and get told that my son needs evaluation. She starts talking to me about autism and aspergers. I call my husband, he tells me I must've misunderstood. The next day, I come in and talk to his new teacher. Who tells me he doesn't follow instructions. That he doesn't play right. I talk to mrs. Cindy. She tells me that he's 2 and it's alarming that he puts his hand in a cup. My husband and I, are not closed minded people. We immediately make him and appointment for evaluation services. We call them at the daycare, we ask them to see if they are willing to help us, since they are watching our son full time. They swear they are here to help, that they are not going to kick us out. Fast forward to a week and a half later, mrs. Cindy refuses for an evaluator come work with our son at the facility. pulls me into the office the ne t morning and ask that I withdraw my children. There's no openings at any other daycare, but they want us out as soon as possible because he's too much for them to handle. They run their rooms at state minimum, and you would think that for the amount they charge, they could afford to hire more qualified people. Mrs Donna tells me that the initial teacher has been fired due to her impatience, but yet my son was the issue ? Because and administrator, went in to change diapers, and my son stuck his hand in the toilet ? Because you have a room of 8+ 2 year olds and you think it's ok to leave doors unlocked, and my son walked out of one due to you were inattentive? My husband calls the director, Michael, who tells him he's a children's psychologist and my son has some sort of auditory processing disorder. Question of the day: how many times did any of you spend observing the classroom ? Making sure your staff was doing it's best and not put the blame on a 2 Year old? We were watching the cameras like hawks after day 1, I saw mrs Cindy enter 3 times for less then 2 minutes and Michael entered not even once. Mind you, my newborn, was sat in a vibrating chair or a swing 90% of the day. Bare minimum stimulation and tummy time. Another mom I knew had to keep calling them to ask if they could please give her son tummy time, because on the cameras she could only see that he was sitting. My son never had autism or behavioral issues. Turns out, he had fluid in his ears and couldn't hear. He's now excelling. But kids r kids didn't have the time or patience to deal with it, despite the $2000 I was forking our every month. At the end, we take them to a new place. Find out what a true daycare is like. Milestone tracking. Education. Schedules. Lunches and breakfast that they enjoyed. Complete opposite of this place. I can only thank this place for kicking us out. My children couldn't be happier. Do yourself a favor, literally any other place will be worth your money. Adults who blame children - always a bad sign.

Teachers/Faculty/Staff truly CARE about our kids education and well-being here. My children have excelled at this school and are challenged according to their individual capacity. One of those being that the management team is not very organized and there is not a whole lot of communication between parents and teachers. On second thought maybe there is some type of communication but it just seems like the parents are always the last to know. Also, my wife likes the fact that public schools have a library but of course the charter schools do not. Although we take our daughter to the public library instead I'm just saying that it would be nice for my daughter to be able to go to check out books herself at the school library. I guess it's just something we have to live with cause we don't want her going to the public schools around here. Just too much overcrowding and it will get worse before it gets better.
