I had the most amazing experience learning SCUBA with Force E. Dani hooked us up with some great snorkel and fins first. Joe was our SCUBA instructor and was an amazing teacher that focused on safety first. He went above and beyond, including letting us learn in his personal pool when the public pool closed. Every day was filled with education and also fun! We went to blue heron bridge as well as the Boynton ledges for our dives. We saw sea turtles, sea horses, a school of jack fish, lobster, and moray eels. Absolutely incredible, I would recommend this to anyone 11/10! read more

I did my initial open water cert back in 1996, and I haven't been diving since. I called a few dive shops inquiring about a private refresher course for me and my wife. Most of the shops I called sounded like they could care less about me or what I was looking for. Then I found Boca Raton Force-E. From start to finish, they are a first class operation. As luck would have it, they paired us with Gary Thomas as our instructor. Gary is a VERY seasoned dive instructor, with well over 40 years of experience (I think closer to 50). His calm, level headed, by-the-book approach instilled a great level of confidence that we were getting great instruction with an emphasis on safety. So you're in town for a dive, and you 'Need' to look for some new gear... Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Force-E. They have a great selection (including some unique items that I had to pick-up), knowledgeable staff that didn't exude "Dive Shop Owner" attitude, and willing to go the extra mile. I'm going to include this story here. I needed some silicon for my o-ring on camera rig which decided this was the trip it was going to leak on. I popped into the store and after a few minutes was like, "Hey have you got any?" The were unfortunately out of stock, but what they DID do was take some of their personal stock for me and put it in a little sealed baggie. They do both air and Nitrox fills, and are willing to get down to a leaner mixture for your deeper dive needs (e.g. Wreck Treck ~90', etc...). If I come back to do some more Blue Heron dives, I won't need to look any further than Force-E. read more

Professional, competent, patient and fun! Great for families. We are travelling in Latin America this year so wanted to get our 12 & 14 year old boys open water dive certified. E-Force was conveniently located and well-reviewed, so we called to test their fit and competency. In a few phone calls we picked up some great tips on diving in Colombia, got the guidance we needed to complete our PADI e-LEarning sessions, scheduled our equipment and pool training sessions for the boys (and refresher courses for Mom & Dad). Our instructor Alec Hutchinson was great with cell and email communications, and when we showed up Wed 830AM they were ready... paperwork was easy, Alec tested the boys PADI e-LEarning knowledge and reviewed pre-qual quizzes with Mom & Dad too. Since we're diving in more remote spots we spent extra time working the dive tables (no dive computers where we are going). At the pool sessions Alec had us set up and break down equipment 3-4 times... equipment quality was excellent. Alec was fantastic with the boys in the pool - he drew on his 18 years of dive experience and shared a few exciting stories to get the boys excited about diving. Alec was very encouraging but also attentive and quick to get their attention back whenever it drifted. The boys were proud of their learning, had fun underwater and are now excited to dive with Mom & Dad. We highly recommend EForce and Alec for your dive needs. read more

What an AMAZING Experience! I was recommended to Force-E by a friend of mine who is a Divemaster. Shout out to all the amazing people that made my journey to getting certified an incredible experience. I initially inquired about certfication in Force-E's Boynton location and met Dani Pierone who was extremely informative about how to get certified. Her enthusiasm and encouragement was contagious. As the Boca location offered weekend classes, I opted to take my certfication there. I started my certification with Kiersten Anderson in one of the group classes. We were a group of 8 and she treated each one of us like we were all getting individual lessons. She took the time to answer all our questions, work with us individually on the things we needed extra help with and gave us much needed reassurance in our first dive at Blue Heron Bridge. She also took the time to make sure I got fitted with the right fins. I opted to complete my final 2 dives with a private lesson. Unfortunately Kiersten's schedule couldn't accomodate me as I wanted to get certified within the next few weeks. However, on the day I completed my written exam, I met Rafael Escobar. He actually shared his own personal initial dive experience and fears with me and I immediately felt at ease. Kiersten worked with Rafael and scheduled me with Rafael to do my certfication dives. I have a close friend that is certified but hadn't gone diving in a couple of years and she was able to come with me on my final certification dives. Rafael was amazing! I felt as though I was not diving with one close friend but two. Once again , Rafael put both of us at ease, guiding us when we needed it and giving us both the confidence we needed to have 2 spectacular dives. He is amazing! The experience didn't end with the instructors. I needed a new mask and went back into the Boynton location and Dani not only remembered me but assisted me with getting the right mask. The morning of my dives, I went into the Boynton location to inquire about getting a camera. Special shout out to Teddie Bevacqua. There were no disposable cameras or rental cameras available in his location. Teddie called every Force E location and without blinking an eye when he realized there was no inventory and I was doing my final dives for certification, he offered to go home and get his own personal camera for us to use. Teddie- you too are amazing and we are so grateful for your generousity and look forward to learning how to use our own camera. Can I give higher than 5 stars??? My wife and I were coming in from out of town and wanting to do our Open Water referral dives. We lucked into finding Force-E!!! What a wonderful experience from the moment we contacted them. Our dive master, Greg H. Was incredibly responsive and helpful. Any time we had a question he would immediately txt or call us back. His patience and instruction in the water was exceptional!!! I mostly appreciated his pre-dive planning talks. In fact others on our boat did too. After our dive, a diver with another group came up to say how much they enjoyed listening in to our instructor, because he was so much informative than theirs. Force-E Scuba Center - Scuba Diving Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

I booked a dive trip for six people through Force E to dive the Lady Luck on a private charter nearly two months in advance. Four of us drove 3 hours on a friday evening and spent the night at a hotel before our dives on Saturday morning. two other divers drove down early on Saturday morning to be at the boat by 8:00 am. When we all arrived at the boat, the captain had no record of our charter. We found out that that the Force E employee who booked the trip never bothered to check the captains schedule or contact him in any way. Force E took our money and did not bother to actually book the trip. Force E refunded two of my party and the remaining four have a credit with the dive boat (DH Scuba) captain. This was the first and last time I will do any business with Force E Scuba. I book a lot of trips and Force E will never see us again. One star because I couldn't leave no stars. Update: This is an update to commend Force E scuba for the great customer service in regards to this trip. Steve made sure we received a full refund and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the resolution. In fact he went beyond my expectations. Great job to Steve and Force E Scuba for taking care of us after the fact to make it right. read more

This is a really great shop. Fair prices and a large inventory. Although, the real reason to go is the customer service. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Exceptional Service!!! Shoutout to Ragy and Zach @ the Boca Raton shop! I'll start by saying I've contacted dozens of scuba shops throughout both the US and overseas in hopes of finding a discontinued item. Several of the shops even tried connecting with their manufacturer reps (which I am very appreciative for), but were unable to find the exact item I was looking for. When I called Force-E, I spoke to Zach, who was personable and ready to help. He gathered my information and let me know that I would receive a follow up call the next day after they had some time to dig further. The following day, that's exactly what happened; I was contacted by Ragy, who was able to find exactly what I was looking for. He was able to connect with Fourth Element in the UK and get my item shipped to me at not only a great price but extremely fast. I was blown away by the service and Ragy's willingness to go way above an beyond my expectations. Fast forward about a week later and my item arrived and I couldn't be more pleased. I went in to get a hood for scuba diving because I get really cold even in Florida in the winter. They had a lot of options after being to some other stores that didn't carry ANY hoods (probably because the weather is so warm here and people infrequently buy them). They also offered to order something for me if I couldn't find what I was looking for and told me if it didn't work out I could bring it back for a replacement. Prices are comparable to other stores in the area but there is a much wider selection if you are looking for something a bit out of the ordinary or just want more choices. read more

I'm so happy with the training I got here. Candidly, my open water certification started with a Groupon search and some "great deals" but ultimately I went with my gut and paid the price to get the SSI certification for Open Diver with Force E. I was skeptical, since there appeared to be many other "deals" in the area, but I heard about the Force E reputation and they certainly lived up to it. I feel like we really had the greatest instructor ever, Roman, and I feel confident in my abilities after an intense week of diving and training. I took a refresher course with Jeff at Force-E back in November 2017 and haven't gotten around to leaving a review until now. Hands down: Jeff was the best scuba instructor I have had. Obviously, with me taking a refresher course, my experience with diving is fairly limited, but Jeff comes across as a genuine guy with outstanding, technical knowledge of the sport. His instructive style is detailed, patient, and engineered to keep you safe and having fun. Our time in the shop was great as well; it looks like a very clean facility with attentive staff. I recently took the Advanced Open Water at Force-E Boca with Nick Casper as my instructor. He was very knowledgeable about the material and was able to explain everything in detail. He also gave me really good advice on equipment. Because he dives often, he also knows the best dives in the area. You can tell that he is passionate about teaching and scuba diving. We had a few weeks of bad weather and he was always proactive in scheduling dives. I would highly recommend taking a class with him, I was very lucky to have him as my instructor. read more

Is there an option for 10 stars? Force-e was highly recommended by one of my sister's friends who is a professional diver. We went to the Boca Raton location and signed up for the open water scuba certification. It looks like it is a busy time of the year but we were able to find a instructor that could work around our tight schedule, Kiersten. From the first interaction in the store looking at equipment we would need to buy for the classes, how attentive, professional and patient she was became apparent to us. We felt very comfortable and confident with how our experience was going to unfold from that very first impression and interaction. She clearly, concisely and patiently explained to us all options for all different types of fins, boots, masks, snorkel. Gave us full freedom to ask several questions, answered them as many times as we needed. Gave us enough details to make a very informative decision without making the information feel overwhelming. She went over in detail all the classes and tests we would have to complete for the certification. Honestly, by the end of that day, our expectations were so high that it was unfair to Kiersten. It'd have been unfair to anyone providing a service. We were all very excited and expecting perfection. Not realistic at all. What we did not expect was how Kiersten would absolutely and completely exceed all our expectations, regardless of how unrealistic they actually were. Her level of patience, clarity when she explains the equipment, proper use of it and when going over anything throughout every step of the certification process was simply world-class. Her teaching method makes it impossible for the student not to learn, she makes you feel comfortable when something feels specially challenging and she finds different ways to explain things until everyone in the group understands it and masters it. She goes above and beyond, she is patient, professional and friendly all at once and she does it effortlessly. Having Kiersten as our instructor brought our open water scuba certification experience to a whole new level. We already recommended her to a couple of friends and will continue to recommend her and your shop to everyone, mainly because she made the whole experience simply flawless. I was somewhat scared of the ocean, but I really wanted to get over that fear. She worked with me and helped me feel extremely safe in the water. She is a patient and fun instructor!! About six or seven months ago I was looking for local dive trips to do more of what I love to do and had recently been certified to do - SCUBA dive! I found a trip on MeetUp that was a women's dive that was being sponsored by Force-E and took the chance, signed up, bought my boat ticket and had a wonderful time. That trip introduced me to Force-E Scuba Center in Boca Raton and many new friends! After interesting programs in the stores at Boca and Pompano, which included listening to the dive doctors, exploring more about the fish we see when we dive, another women's dive at the Blue Heron Bridge, a monster mash presentation of creatures from black water dives, to name just a few, it was time to get serious about diving. Fast forward to Labor Day weekend at Force-E Boca when I decided it was time to buy my own gear. That was when I met Nick Casper, the store manager who just happens to have a masters in marine biology in his dive bag. Nick worked with me - patiently - to get the right gear at the right price. He answered a million questions and made the process go smoothly. I was ready to spend the money and he made it all worth it. Nearly 30 dives later I am still really happy with my choices. Force-E Boca is well organized and has a wide range of choices to fit anyones needs and budgets. I strongly recommend them to help you get what you need from the fins up. And they stand by their gear! My experience with Force-E didn't stop there. I wanted to get my next level of certification prior to a dive travel trip to the Sea of Cortez so I stopped in the shop and talked to Nick to see what I needed to do. Nick was my instructor for my Advanced Open Water Diver certification and made it happen for me with a ton of knowledge added as we worked. The PADI course was informative, but Nick's advice and experience gave me more than I could have hoped for. Since then I have earned my Deep Diver Specialty Cert and am working on my Wreck Specialty Cert as I keep going on to pursue a Master Diver certification. Force-E Boca is awesome, but then, so is the entire Force-E family of dive shops from Riviera Beach to Pompano. I highly recommend Force E Boca. The staff, management and ownership go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. They are all experienced and can give you the pros and cons of different equipment. The instructors are terrific; my son took several certifications with them, and we bought all of our equipment there. Unfortunately, the dive computer had numerous problems and was sent out on warranty. Force E always offered us a loaner and gave us good advice. They worked with the company to get it replaced rather than repaired after the third time but the company wouldn't stand behind it. Fortunately, Force E stepped in and found a way to make it right for us despite the problems with the manufacturer. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied customers. They also service our equipment and book dive trips, but best of all the friendly, knowledgeable staff always has your best interest in mind...they want you to be a happy, satisfied customer.
