A week before the auction he wants to cancel after we did all the advertising and spent the time and money to get flyers up. Day of the auction he went around and talked bad about the family and how he didn't want to be here. FYI we had to set everything up. He didn't bring any help with him and what help he brought got first picks at auction items. When they would bid on something that was the end of it. He made sure his people got what they wanted. Started everything at $1 and was giving things away! If all that wasn't bad enough we agree on a percentage before the sale. When we get the check he took it upon himself to double that percentage. We have tried to call and work this out ask why he thought he deserved more then we agreed on, he won't take our calls and will not call us back. Save yourself and your family the trouble find a different company. A better company!!!

I am writing to inform family and friends of what occurred with the My Silver Attic Estate…read moreLiquidator in Lincoln Nebraska.  My parents are in their eighties and my mother signed the contract with this company to have an estate sale and full house clean out because they were moving to an independent living apartment and selling their home. They had a 4-bedroom home plus items from when they were snowbirds in Arizona.  Their possessions were not junk, but nice furniture, decorations, kitchen items, and some tools. The estate sale was held in April and we are told it brought in around $8,300.  The check my mother received from the sale of all their lifelong possessions was $36.90. When I called Brian on June 23, he explained that they took 45% off the top, then 96 hours at $30/hour for the work they did and two dumpster charges. This just doesn't seem right!  I have asked for a copy of the contract and invoice showing the charges and told they would send it to me via email.  However, I have contacted them twice by phone and once via their website, but still have not received what I asked.  My elderly parents have nothing to show for all these possessions that are now gone!  It doesn't seem right!  This company also keeps some of the furniture and can resell it at other sales and keep the money for themselves! Had my mother understood this when booking this company, she would not have signed to have a full house clean out, but moving is stressful at their age and she trusted these people.  Isn't 45% off the top of the sale enough?  Who knew they took all these extra fees too! Beware!

The VIN for the vehicle I was looking at I found in Stafford, TX on Vroom.com. Because I was skeptical I made the 3 hour drive to Lincoln Sunday night. Called after LS Repo opened at 9:45 and the person who answered not only confirmed the vehicle in question was at the location, but that I could come look at it. Made the 5 min drive to the address on the website only to find nothing in that area with the business name. Called the phone number and the same person answered. After I said I was at the location and couldn't find the building, they hung up and blocked my calls. I went into Nebraska Title Company, which was part of the same building at that address, and they advised they have never heard of the company.

The driver immediately acknowledged that the accident was his fault and he apologized. Changing Spaces company has apparently had so many claims on insurance that they didn't want to file a claim. So they offered to pay us directly. THEN two days later they decided the accident is not their fault. The driver has rescinded his story now saying he was not at fault. BE WARNED - they are not honest!
