I needed to establish a doctor in Florida as I travel back and forth to another state during the year. I filled out at least 6+ pages of info and history. Upon entering, Dr. Sallam spent 5-10 minutes talking about Savannah Guthrie and her mother's kidnapping. It was uncomfortable trying to steer her away from the conversation. I have a lung issue that is being monitored by my doctor in the other state - I literally had to ask Dr. Sallam to check my lungs. She only checked 6 fields. I couldn't wait to leave. Upon leaving, I mentioned that the only real issue at the moment was that I'd like to lose some more weight. She promptly told me to use my phone to scan the QR code on the wall to get a discount for Ozempic. "Just lose 20 pounds and stop." She said she would call in the prescription. The issue was that I was told by two doctors (primary GP and gynecologist) that I should never go on Ozempic bc of issues with my pancreas and kidney. Dr. Sallam apparently did not read my history or listen to me when I told her of my history. I left and promptly cancelled the prescription vowing I would never go back to her, despite needing a doctor here. My husband saw another doctor in the group recently and had a great appointment and asked him if I could switch to him (I asked my husband to see if I could switch to that doctor) That doctor gave my husband the name of Shelly, the office manager, to switch doctors. I called on 9/16/2026 at around 9 a.m. and was told Shelly was busy with training but would call me back. No call all day. I called back on 9/17/26 and was able to speak with Shelly. She told me I would be unable to switch doctors per the doctor's office policy. I literally begged her to switch doctors. She would not allow me to switch. I questioned the process where a person randomly chooses a doctor from the website and has to keep that doctor for 20+ years without being to change and she continued to say that was the office policy. My husband got on the speaker call and told her we were both leaving the practice. We are moving on. They deserve a one star review. The overall rating for this office is low. Not working with the patient is reprehensible. Expecting a patient to continue with a doctor that they have no confidence in is unbelievable. So if you see a doctor for a period of time and you don't mesh in the treatment plan- you're expected to continue with that doctor because of office policy?? Shelly made no effort to help me. Move on and go elsewhere. I treated my patients far better than this office does.

Two years ago I spent much of my time moving through life in a wheelchair because of a serious foot injury. I was facing seemingly impossible odds when I met Dr. John Yee. While other physicians had given up on my case, Dr. Yee engaged his unending creative problem-solving skills suggesting unique treatments that resolved my problem and resulted in a much-improved lifestyle. As I began to improve, Dr. Yee suggested that an exercise program would be essential to my regaining strength and balance. He found a gym whose talented owner agreed to work with several of his patients recovering from serious medical issues. Under his direction, five of us we're pushed and challenged and we improved --- and then Covid-19 hit and the gym had to close. Dr. Yee then stepped in and offered to personally teach us martial arts strategies and techniques to continue our recovery using a virtual platform. Dr. Yee now coaches us in strength training, balance strategies and relaxation techniques and we continue to grow physically and mentally. His gentle concern has strengthened our minds, bodies and souls. Any referral I've asked for, she has told me I need to figure that out with my insurance, myself. She breaks everything possible into multiple visits so that billing happens as much as possible. For my last appointment, I had a urinalysis that she admitted she never reviewed, even though it was a severe issue that needed immediate care. I had to make a new appointment a week later to review those results because I still wasn't feeling well. When I told her it was unacceptable that she never reviewed my results, she said "it's Monday" and "you're not my only patient", I said it's been a week and that's a terrible way to treat a patient. She back tracked immediately and said she did review my results and never followed up because she didn't need to. She then began being very condescending to me and even told me she doesn't need to mother me or check back in (and denied telling me to call her if I needed a medication change, as my infection was a tricky one to treat). I again, told her this is very condescending as I was just following exactly what she told me to do. She actually hung up on me during this telehealth video call. She is truly the only PCP that was available when I moved here and it is clear why. The office itself is so gross and creepy. She's cared a lot more about my outfits I wore to my appointments, than my family's colorful cancer history! This was my final straw after her lack of care for 2 years, so this is probably a blessing in disguise for me!

Not anywhere in their signage or documents does it go over a minimum. The old Indian man at the front office tried to tell me I can't go anywhere like a store or restaurant and pay less than $10....WRONG!! I already tried to leave the office because they couldn't conduct business properly and as I'm walking out they called me back to the desk and try to explain more, as I'm saying that they can not charge me more than the $1 copay the office man said that I would not be a good fit for the office...DUH!!! I was already on my way out the door. 3) The office is disgusting, I have to unfortunately go where my insurance is covered and I made a poor choice going here. I can't believe this place is still in business. It's so unfortunate for those who don't have access to better care than this. I was a customer patient of theirs for about thirty five years. This closed up Business needs to answer the phone and release Medical Records the Owner is found nowhere!! There is a parking garage and also valet parking if you prefer. My appointment with Dr. Shah almost always runs on time. I rate Dr. shah as an excellent doctor. He doesn't rush me and takes the time to do a thorough consultation. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because of how difficult it is to get through to this office on the phones. It can sometimes take over an hour of waiting. They do offer a call back service but if you miss that then you have to start all over again. Given how busy they are and how many doctors they have, they should really employ more people for the phones. It's often quicker to drive there and speak to the front desk than it is to call in.
