Since money was always an issue for me, she went out of her way to give me samples or discount coupons on my prescription medications, when they were available. She also made sure to discuss every aspect of life with me that would affect my health; such as diet, stress, excercise, family history, and overall well being. She has also given me excellent referrals and worked with my insurance companies to make sure that my preventative care is covered. Sometimes her office staff and nurses can be pushy or rude, since she is in a shared office complex with other doctors.

We were looking for a physician for my grandmother when we moved here, and heard about Dr. Marciales. Since then (about three years ago), we've found him to be patient, caring, compassionate, competent, and extremely experienced caring for the elderly. He takes the time to discuss with both patient and family, and is always available and attentive. His staff is great as well. Last but not least, I should add that being a healthcare professional myself, this is not an easy review to get from me. Dr. Marciales is as good as it gets here in Bradenton.

Filled out info while she took my ins info. Finished with my paperwork and her window was closed like she didn't wanna be bothered. I had to go to the left window and speak to another lady who took my paperwork. 10 min later window opens I barely heard my name called... I went back and she wanted to schedule me in for Jan? With a big smile. It's Aug..she then condescendingly said how about February? Like laughing to herself. I said no, I'd like to get in earlier. I guess I'll have to go somewhere else. She didn't say one word just handed me my paperwork back. My opinion is this, if you don't like your job, don't work where you work. It's not our fault as customers that you're unhappy. You don't need to spread your bad energy to customers. It's bad for your company and for your well-being. If this is my company and I saw this lady treating a customer, the way I was treated I would fire her on the spot. I've been the customer service industry for over 35 years. Not acceptable I've never not seen a company refused customers in all of my life. Good riddance. I went home and got on the phone and I got in right away for tomorrow, with another firm Deuces. Within 2 weeks of seeing him I'm in PT for a shoulder I complained about relentlessly, have been biopsied for 2 spots that turned out to be squamous cell CAs (their derm told me they were nothing to worry about) and I'm having a knee xrayed next week. There might actually be a lawsuit in here somewhere because these folks do nothing but bill Medicare for too many appointments. Kept my meds screwed up most of the time too! Run away fast as you can. That free coffee & an apple is not worth the lack of medical care at this place.

Review of My Experience…read more I'm sharing my experience because I believe patients should know what they may encounter at this office. I was charged a cash "convenience" fee simply for having blood drawn in the office. I also submitted a new insurance/pharmacy card and provided the office with a copy, yet my prescriptions were sent to the incorrect mail-order pharmacy twice. As a result, I was without some of my medication for more than a week. My most frustrating experience involved an appointment. I was running approximately 15 minutes late because I was stuck in traffic, but I called the office while I was on the road and left a message more than an hour before my scheduled appointment to explain the situation. When I arrived, I was told I would not be seen unless I paid a $100 missed-appointment fee. I refused to pay it because I had notified the office in advance and was only 15 minutes late. I asked to speak with the doctor, but I was told the doctor would not speak with me and that the fee would not be waived. Shortly afterward, I received a letter in the mail stating that the practice would no longer be treating me. Overall, I found the experience extremely disappointing. The issues with my prescriptions were particularly concerning because they resulted in me being without medication for over a week. The way the appointment situation was handled also left me feeling that my concerns were not heard or taken seriously. I'm sharing this review based on my personal experience so that others can make an informed decision about where they receive their care.

I notice that the other reviewer did not like him but I am betting there is more to that story. He takes the time to understand what is going on and work out a treatment plan. His nurse Marisa is fabulous and really likes to help. During season an appointment might be hard to get but trust me it's worth it.
