It turned out it wasn't necessary. Preferential treatment has been given to former Board Members regarding repairs, landscaping, maintenance, pretty much everything. Kimberly Smith is constantly argumentative, obstructive, uncooperative, and combative. She has threatened other residents in other associations with filing criminal charges against them for their criticism of her company. Of course, she is once again incorrect in that only civil actions in tort are allowed if libel or slander is committed. The absolute defense against slander and tort is the truth. One cannot be threatened with or sentenced to jail over a civil matter. Kimberly is a nasty, nasty blowhard. Most of the Yelp reviews about Preferred Management are extremely negative. The only good one was posted by their long time business partner to whom they refer a lot of business and that business isn't good either Avoid this company and this person if you want to protect the value of your property.
