What this hotel does not have, the one next door has -- meaning that if you want a full bar or gym, it is in the sister (same owner) hotel next door at no charge. I would definitely stay here on a future visit to Paris.

The numbering of rooms were very confusing especially using the elevator! It was nice that bathrobes and house slippers were provided! But we requested twin beds! The front desk was nice but was not helpful! Cases of water were behind them but I had to ask for it? Also, they were not very informative or helpful to restaurants in their neighborhood? Lounge/ lobby area had old hard cushioned benches. The breakfast buffet was just ok and located at the end of the hotel! I wont be back!

I believe there are only four rooms per floor. I cannot recommend this facility enough.

They provided free umbrellas during those wet days in Paris. Uber rides were quick in front of the hotel. Check out was a simple process with no hidden fees. Not being able to locate a thermometer setting for cool air I went downstairs to ask about this. I was told there was no cooling unit for the rooms. Unhappy, but willing to deal with it because we loved the downstairs bar area and restaurant. They immediately offered us a fan which we took to the room and turned on facing the bed and had to leave the windows open at night so we didn't sweat. We had wonderful drinks at the bar in the lobby as well as appetizers. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious and plentiful. All in all, it ended up being a nice experience, but please do expect to sweat during the hotter months if you stay.

It cost us about 48 euros to get here by taxi. It's also a bit of a walk from the major tourist attractions. I suggest taking the subway. We arrived early and were not expecting our rooms to be ready. We were politely greeted and offered complimentary breakfast. They had a small room where we could store our luggage. Upon our return they gave us a room with two twin beds pushed together and offered to change our room the following day. The Husband is 6'4" so he looked kind of funny in the tiny bed. The following day, the person at the front desk had no idea what were talking about. She was very polite and changed our room once we explained what happened the day before. Our second room had a cute little balcony with grass. Pros: friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, free Wi-Fi. Cons: breakfast was kind of pricey, the half glass divider on bathroom tub causes water to spray out everywhere, the elevator is tiny, and there is no refrigerator to keep any of those delicious goodies you buy and want to eat later. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our 2 week trip this was the nicest.

We, a family of 2 adults and 2 children, stayed in a "junior suite". Our room was conveniently located on the 1st floor, but, because of that, the view was nothing to write home about. Other than that, room was fairly large, and looked modern and well kept. I like that it had a separated "toilet" room from the rest of the bathroom. Also nice was that it had a tub for the children, but there was also a shower apart from the tub. As I mentioned, the room had an above average size, mostly because of the "foyer", kinda like a little living room, with a sofa bed, a table and its own TV. That area could be closed off with a screening door. The "mais bed area" had a queen bed, its own TV, a large closet, a Nespresso machine (with 3 complimentary pods), a eletronic safe and a mini-fridge. Pretty much all you need in a hotel room. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked nice and busy. Location was really good, as I mentioned, you just have to cross the street to get to the metro, and the Eiffel tower was just a 10 min walk away. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and even a supermarket nearby. The surrounding area felt safe, even at night. Overall, cant complain, liked the room, liked the location, and would stay here again.

It is an old hotel, with some obvious spots that have missed renovation or maybe in the process of renovation. Our room was clean, but very small: it only fit a queen-size bed and a small desk, with barely any walking room (1 star off). The walls were paper-thin; you can constantly hear people walking or housekeeping talking in the hallway (1 star off). We actually didn't hear anything from the street. The hallways were much louder. The front desk staff all spoke fluent English, which is helpful for tourists. I would stay here again for a night or two for the convenience, but not sure if I would stay here longer than that, because I need good consecutive nights of sleep without noisy people outside my door.
