on top of this there is a very large park area with wooden climbing frames, swings, play house, assault course etc etc.
during december there is an area transformed into the xmas tree sales with shapes and sizes of all varieties available, a small shop area with some local crafts available and a santas grotto.
it's a very popular venue for cylcists, there is a cafe and picnic facilties dotted around, there are toilets, obviously, but they can get quite mucky sometimes depending on the weather with all the mud being trapsed around.
the only downside is the parking charges, you can either pay for an hour or a day! i find that an hour is never quite enough and i am rushing back to the car x read more
