I have lived in ABQ for 11 years and shopped at this store tens of times and was always treated well. Recently, however, their hiring policies have reached a very low standard, and the employees became not only not helpful, but sometimes hostile. Yesterday (2/25) after being treated incredibly disrespectfully in front of my minor child, I asked to speak with a manager to report the incident (her name was Jackie) and she seemed completely unable to get any resolution. I want to leave here the names Sabrina and Robin, which are both employees involved in the incident, and whom I am reporting to the corporate office. I like the store's clothes and inexpensive prices, but they need to get a minimum quality standard when it comes to the employees they hire. read more

Poor customer service... Went today at a fairly busy time. My wife needed some shorts off the top hanging rack. We looked for anyone to help but it seems like there was nobody to help. Luckily there was one of those hooks that extend out to grab the clothes off the top racks. I grabbed it and pulled off the exact one she needed. All of the sudden someone shows up to "help" but you would have thought we committed a federal offense. The lady rudely came over and grabbed the hook out of my hand and also rudely said, "can I help you reach anything." My wife said no that was what she wanted. She walked behind and pretended to start sorting the clothes by moving each of the hangers closer together but not really doing anything. Conspicuous huh? This store offers more clothing, shoes, and accessory choices then the cottonwood mall does, only thing I don't like is that it's too big and can be overwhelming. Cottonwood location doesn't have a big store but it's definitely nicer that it's small read more

Shopped here today. A couple girls working here initially gave me your basic customer service, asked me if I needed a bag or help finding anything. These two were nice along with the female in the fitting room. Things quickly changed as I got to the line. I looked in front of me and one of the cashiers was with another customer and I glanced at the other cashier and he just stared at me and stood there. I had to ask if he was actually open since he wasn't doing anything and didn't call me over. He gave a smart-aleck look and no response. His name was James. He was rude, complacent and slammed my card on the desk back at me. It's hard to say if I'd come back here or not seeing as the service was inconsistent. I purchased 20 bathing suits online in June and didn't realize that they were all final sales. I sent most back because they didn't look good on me and they emailed me and said that they had to send back because they were final sale items but I had to pay for shipping which was fine with me. Guess what I still haven't received them amd it's October. I asked for my money back since it's been a long time. So to make a long story short I don't have the bathing suits or my money and I'm highly upset and it's NO ONE that you can call about this BS either because corporate office number isn't working. Loved the few outfits I got here for an awesome price, but Gabby was rude. She was the attendant in the dressing room who would barely make eye contact and then she was the cashier... Well right up until I walked up and she said. "Sorry I'm off now". I worked retail.. I get that your shift is over, but be polite about it and if there is one last person in line... 5 stars for a Forever 21. First, it's huge (especially compared to the one at Cottonwood, which is a joke). Secondly, it is consistently the most neat and organized Forever 21 I've ever seen. Everything is in its place. Third, customer service is great. I've had girls help me match tops to shorts I wanted, get me big bags to carry my haul of clothes to try on, and generally provide way more customer service than any other Forever 21 I've been to in several other states. I prefer to go to this location in Coronado Mall compared to cottonwood because they have more clearance items with sales up to 75% off the original price. There is also a more wide range of a selection. For example in this location they sell men's clothing, women's clothing, plus size clothing, jewelry, shoes, and beauty products. This location seems to have workers with a little sassiness coming from them I think they should be more enthused to show customers that the care to be working there which decreases a star quality for me. Horrible mgmt hired as part time then after hired got cut hrs 1 day a week 4hrs each week for 3 weeks called hr called rhonda asked questions was told hours short only mgmt gets hrs then employees was hung up on me 4 times 1 by rhonda main mgmt hiring then 1 more time from athena mgmt then 1 time from another girl then 1 time from another male employee. I have gone into this store a couple of times, if not more and I have got to say that the store does have a huge selection to choose from, but the customer service is terrible! The managers, floor staff, dressing room staff, etc. are all so rude. The staff hates to help you in any way what so ever, they act like it kills them to do so. Hello?!
