RUDE...terrible experience! We had a few minutes and wanted to stop at the store to get measured for shirt size and pick up a couple of shirts, maybe a couple of ties. We realized that it was 445 and the store closed at 5 o'clock. But we knew it wouldn't take 15 minutes to do what we needed. Literally, the guy saw us walking up to the door so he locked the left side of the door, opening the right side and blocked the entry with his body! He looked at us like we certainly were not welcome there. We squeezed through the door anyway, and he promptly stated we're closing in 15 minutes, stating "what do you need?". The clerks just glared at us, appalled that we had come in at 4:45pm, while they were still OPEN. The clerk continue to be rude and condescending. I did ask him to measure my son's shirt size anyway. When we told him what type of shirt we wanted, he basically mocked us. At that point we had had enough... We left. By the way, it was well before five when we walked out the door... we weren't in the store but a few minutes. I've purchased suits and shirts there before. We were treated like we didn't belong. Their tone, words and their mannerisms were hateful and rude! I will tell my friends and never return. JUST AWFUL. read more

We really enjoyed our experience here. The gent who helped us (business card says Darryl was his name, but I forget!) was a delight! Engaging, funny, helpful. He gave us his professional advice but also worked to find what we wanted. He took a lot of time to help us pick out the tux for prom, and then to get my young man looking dapper without pressure in the end to buy it. He said "we'll hold this for you till you come back for the tux so you have time to decide." Service - five stars! The prices were great too! Tux rental was fair at $99, though the pocket square was an extra TEN! (You can buy one for $15, btw. I'll probably make one instead!) As for the suit, $200, plus $70 for shirt and tie, and another $50 for some sharp, cap-toe kicks. Quite a deal, I'd say. Three stars for selection. Shoe options were pitiful for a size 13, which isn't enORmous, in my opinion. And in terms of basic suits, it seems like there weren't a great variety of styles. But maybe Darryl just knew what the kids these days are looking for, so he cut through the fluff (and the high-end stuff) and went straight to the winning style. Although I would've liked to see more options, the teenager liked it. If you're in the market for a more expensive fit, you'll undoubtedly find ample selection to choose from. read more

I checked out Men's WH, Jos. A. Bank and Nordstrom's Rack (they are all in the same vicinity). Suits Unlimited was the best price. Best selection. Best Value and Best Customer Service hands down! It feels good to walk into a store and have them treat you right the first time. Other stores I had to waive people down and when I did, they just told me to go look in that general direction (I'm looking at you Jos. A. Bank Uptown). In MW's they didn't have a great selection, but their service was a bit better. Suits unlimited was head and shoulders above other locations I went to. They even measured my children for suits etc. even through I wasn't going to rent through them. I live in Gallup and they were able to tailor my suit within 90 minute of me buying it. We originally went in on a Tuesday afternoon to rent a 2 Jackets & 2 Pants for a Christmas party on Saturday. The sales person, (Robert Dominguez) let us know about a great sale they were having at the time. I was a little skeptical at first but Robert and all of the staff made the process a very easy experience. The staff were all very professional & friendly. When they totaled everything up the sale was great! Now to the best Part, I had agreed to get the suits if they could have them ready by Friday or Saturday. When they submitted the alteration ticket they put it for pickup on Thursday! So the next day (Wed afternoon) I received a text and email from S.U. that said my order was ready to be picked up???!!!! I was incredibly nervous about having a high-end suit tailored. As you may know, a good tailor can make a suit much, much better, and a bad tailor can ruin one. I called ahead before going to the location, and the staff was incredibly friendly. When I arrived, I experienced the exact same thing. The entire team was willing to help. They made me comfortable and gave me just the right amount of recommendation as to what the suit needed. I had total confidence it will be done right. They promised they would have the work completed in three days. I thought, "that is unusual - it usually takes longer than that". To my surprise, I got a text message later that day saying everything was ready. I went in, tried on the suit, and left completely satisfied. I drove 2 hours to have some of my suits altered. I was turned away because they had not been dry cleaned ed prior to arriving. There was some dust on the shoulders that could easily be wiped off and little dog hair (from the short haired dog that road along with us...so not much). Fortunately, Izzy's tailor shop down the street helped me without an appointment. Izzy was amazing and I can't recommend his shop enough. I recently bought a couple of suits here. I don't wear animal products and the staff was more than helpful when finding vegan options. The upside is that the expected "vegan tax" didn't apply to the synthetic options available. The tailoring was professional and efficient. My clothing items were ready exactly when they said they would be (which was much sooner than I had expected). One of the owners is a retired Marine (I'm also a Marine) and they're military friendly. I'm not sure if they do a military discount, as I didn't ask. I'm more than happy to pay the asking price for the service/quality I received. They've earned a customer for life! read more

Great service and great quality of suits. I had to travel home for a funeral the week between Christmas and New Year's. I went in the week before Christmas and got one of the double breasted suits. I've never been fitted for a suit before. I needed one since I was invited to a friends wedding. The staff here were polite and very patient with me helping me find what I was looking for. I settled on a gray suit that will look nice with a white shirt, or more neon colors for non-formal occasions. My fiancé and I went to Suits Unlimited because the majority of our wedding party lives there. First, let me say that the majority of the workers there are men. And they DEFINITELY use the women's bathroom. When I went to use the facilities, the seat was up with tons of filthy urine spattered all over the seat. Ick! The suits we ordered were all ridiculously huge on our groomsmen. The best man went back to have it fitted, and it was still too big. My fiancé is not satisfied with the customer service as they would make promises then not deliver (e.g. They would say they have navy ties, then magically they wouldn't have them). This place would be ok for prom or people who are not looking for complete satisfaction with wedding attire. read more

Today we went to Suits Unlimited to find a pair of dress pants for my husband who is very tall! We looked everywhere and one store recommended that we try Suits Unlimited. My husband won't stop talking about how wonderful the service was! We got a pair of pants for $55 everywhere else was over $100 and the pair we got seems high quality! The Sales man was such a nice man I believe his name was John, he made sure my husband walked away with comfortable pair of shoes that my husband needed and a pair of dress pants that fit very well. I do NOT recomend this place.. Good people, TERRIBLE follow through/communication. 2 trips of wasted gas. Apparently a rental costs the same as a purchase. I went in to get measured 5 weeks prior to the event as I intended to buy to make sure alterations can be completed. I was told I would get a call in a week or two. I called 2 weeks before the event as I never got a call. Turns out my measurements weren't saved. Went in got measured again. 1 week before the event I was given a pair of pants that were too tight. I was told to come in 2 days before the event. 3 days before the event, I received a text and was advised "my rental" was ready. I was given pants that fit too large/baggy, "adjustable" at the waist. This was 2 days before the event. I rented.(I was able to color match and purchase pants elsewhere) At the time of return, we were told that an item was missing. When we brought the item in we were told that it wasn't needed. Last thing to remember for every 1 unhappy person that spoke up there are 10 that did not speak up. read more

I was very impressed by their professionalism, courtesy, and great customer service. Larry, Manny, German were all very courteous and listened to me the kind of fitting I wanted for my suits. Alteration of both suits was done in one day, while other places take anywhere between 3 to 10 days. read more

Guess we fell through the cracks at Suits Unlimited. Their consistent with telling me one thing and I get the other. First, we confirmed 3 times what we wanted in suits prior to the order being sent out. Second, communication doesn't seem to work between its fragmented departments. Third, follow up is weak at best. Hopefully they can remedy this over time but I doubt it can happen before my wedding this coming Saturday. My first negative experience with Suits Unlimited brings me to the matter of what we wanted for the suits in regards to style and what my bride wanted. Confirming 3 times so that there wouldn't be a possibility of anything going wrong. Fool proof to say the least, we still ended up with all of us getting the wrong vest. My best man also got the wrong tie. I wasn't too impressed with the vest selection but got talked in to it. It's a minor set back but I shouldn't have had high hopes of detail since this is Albuquerque. My second negative experience with Suits Unlimited is with there means of communication not being their strong suit (no pun intended). At first I tried my direct salesmen but luck may have it I kept on calling in on his days off. I would talk to other associates but my messages would not get relay to him. So I sent e-mail's being that another means of communicating through their website. Got a call back within 48 hours, I replied back the amount of groomsmen involved in the wedding and what suits we went with. My salesmen called to confirm this with me prior to the e-mail but missed his call. This wasn't forwarded to him through the web communication. When I needed to call him, a week prior the wedding, my best man from out of town wouldn't be able to make it; it seemed this information never made it to him. I was told they would follow up a week before the wedding, that never happened. I called in on Wed to find out if they even had the suits which was an after thought for them to even touch base with me to let me know they came in. Which brings me to my third negative with Suits Unlimited is follow up. I'm not in the suit business but I do know with any reputable establishment that listening to the customer request, staying on top of your communication to said customers, and being accountable for what you tell them is pinnacle to maintaining a well establishment.We went over multiple times what we wanted, not good listener; check. I had to initiate all communication during the last week of the wedding. Not keeping in good communication with me; check. I was told that they will call me back to confirm they had to suits; if they had the right order pertaining to the suits; when to come in for fitting. I called in 3 times on Wednesday was told they will call that afternoon when the suits would be ready for fitting. None of their calls were even made and what upset me most was when I did go in I was asked "Oh you got my message" I didn't want to be that guy that dug in to just an associate. Unfortunately this hits on all three qualities I look for in businesses (good listening skills, good communication, being accountable) . I had high hopes of finding me a well maintain local business when it comes to suits since I'll be finishing college soon. I'll be entering the field of law which requires me to wear suits. I went off the recommendations of my DJ since he gave them high accolades in professionalism, detail, customer awareness. After reading a good majority of reviews online backing his claims this made me at ease in choosing Suits Unlimited as my go to place for my suit. I believe my rating is just in this matter and hopefully they can remedy this issue of the ties and vest before the wedding on Saturday.
