I only went to this shop to get a gift card. At the time, the cashier bay was not opened on the first floor, so we had to climb the stairs to the 2nd floor. Once you are on the second floor, there are no signs to direct you to the checkout area, so I stood and did a complete 360 before discovering where it was. Didn't stand in line as I was next up. The gift cards come in different colors - that is the only thing different about each (just the color). So glad the store wasn't one of the ones that closed recently. If you haven't heard, Forever 21 filed bankruptcy and closed 200 stores, but this location is still alive and kicking. I stopped by yesterday and I found the store very clean and organized. They were well stocked. I encountered friendly and helpful employees. I was able to find a few items at a good price. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes...now that's my kind of shopping. Hope this Forever 21 is around to stay forever! read more

If you ever shop at Montgomery Mall, then you may have known that Forever 21 had been temporarily relocated for the past few months to allow for the remodeling of the original location. But did you know that the renovations have been completed and that the new store opened last week? And it's HUGE. Two floors, packed and pristine made me feel like I had just won a golden ticket to a low budget, Willy Wonky and the Chocolate Factory-esque world of clothes and accessories. So many sections, so many styles, my ADD went into overload. I felt like a needed a paper bag to breathe. In fact, I almost turned around and left because I knew it would just be too much. But I decided to push forward, I bought a few little doo dads and dresses I can wear a few times. Check it out soon before it gets all run down and disorganized, like they all seem to over time. For the record, it may just be the largest Forever 21 to my memory in the area. It really is massive. Plus it's the only place that makes me really feel like I'm ballin.' Oh how I use to love this store religiously. In my college days when I was on a semi budget, this would be the go to place for my club and weekend attire. The clothes are cute and trendy and looks good on me until it's laundry day. The store is huge and it's divided into two levels. If you have on heels, watch your step! Help is non existent here. As you reach towards the back of the store on the first floor it's a disaster zone. As you approach the back of the store you know where all the cheap deals are it's a mess. Moving clothes racks blocking the other racks and clothes always on the ground. One day I bought the cutest pink pants from here. I wore it to work one day and as I was going about my day it was close to my lunch and all of the sudden, I heard my pants rip right down the middle of my rear. As you can imagine, I was beet red and it wasn't like the pants were too small for me. The whole day I had to wrap my little jacket around my waist. Total embarrassed. So when you wash your clothes from them ( hand wash or laundry machine) shrink, they fade, the buttons fall off, some simple stains don't come out. Then another week, I wore a shirt from them, and the thread began to unravel and a got a small hole. Some of the prices are okay because you can always find cheap tank tops or cheap tees but the quality is so cheap. The jewelry are cute but it's cheap costume jewelry and it's a big deal if you have allergies to metal forget it. I never have any issues shopping expect that smaller sizes always goes first. The always have the cutest beanie hats. They also have camis on sale for $1.90 but the material is cheap and stains never wash out. Make sure you know their lame return policy before you buy. 1 star for service 1 star for quality. read more

As others have mentioned, the store was renovated awhile back & it is awesome! They have 2 floors of clothing, shoes & accesories. What a beautiful blend of trendy, classic apparel & this place won't break the bank. Beware --- cheap quality so their clothes aren't built to last. I recommend splurging elsewhere where it really counts: jeans, shoes, etc. The dressing rooms are upstairs, which is where you'll find the bulk of accesories as well. They also sell swimwear & lingerie/loungewear. I love shopping here for cute scarves, t-shirts & layering pieces. What a fun way to spend an afternoon. read more

While the store is bright and well organized, whenever my daughters and I go to shop we have to spend at least an hour just finding size smalls. Three size small wearing shoppers and all with different styles but we lock our eyes on adorable tops, bottoms and dresses only to discover after digging through all the sizes , rarely are there any size smalls or 25 waist pants. I must say the clothing they do have is quite adorable and inexpensive although wash with caution or the clothes will fall apart. For the price, you get what you pay for but if you need sturdy clothes this is not the place for you. The accessories department is full of unique jewelry and scarves and sunglasses at very inexpensive prices. I take my girls here for basics for school and summer outfits and stock up on accessories Great place to gather layering clothes like tanks and basic tees and trendy outfits. And if you are size small and can actually FIND a size small, they do offer very inexpensive statement pieces. I've never seen a staff member smile or go out of their way to help on the floor. Good luck if you need something from the top hanging rack because you will either spend 30 minutes trying to find an employee to help you get it down only to grunt at you when they help, or you will have to find one of those long metal arms and attempt to get down what you need yourself. "Do you want a bag? " And " Do you know about our return policy?" Is about the only thing you will hear from a cashier. No " thank you, have a nice day." We go for the bargains here, not so much the customer service because there is none. And if its close to the holidays, be prepared to stand in line forever with usually just one ringer. The ladies that work the dressing room are the friendliest of all the employees. As for the return policy , its exchange only with receipt or store credit so make sure you want what you buy. They used to have a very cheerful greeter at the door who would direct you to what you were looking for , but the past few times we have been, the only employees in sight were gathered at the cash stand talking amongst themselves with only one ringer and a long line, or in the dressing room working. read more

Do not even think about venturing in here if you have less than a solid hour to browse... and a full bank account. I always tell myself, "oh, I'm just going to look! I don't really need anything." Worst. Idea. Ever. Despite the bargains I find here, it quickly adds up and the checkout total always has me reluctant to hand my card over. This location is by far the BEST and most well-stocked of all the Forever 21s in the DMV. Yes, it even beats out Tyson's Corner and the huge 3 story one in Chinatown, which are often picked over. I find that this location is also much better organized, and overall, less crowded. Truly a test of my self-control, and one I will fail every time. read more

I love shopping at Forever 21, many of the clothes I wear are from there. Therefore, my one star is for the clothes itself. However, the customer service is probably the worst I have ever experienced. I left my wallet at home so I wanted use Apple Pay to get my purchases refunded. I have done it in other stores before so I knew it would work. The man that was helping me with my return was "so sure" that it would not work and insisted that I needed my debit card in order to let the refund go through. But what do you know, Apple Pay worked, and he was wrong. That wasn't the part that upset me. What upset me was that he didn't even apologize, nor say "have a nice day." He handed my receipt to me without looking me in the eye and just went "next in line." I really love shopping at Forever 21, but as long as he's there, I think i'll stick to online shopping. read more

The sizes are all crazy I couldn't find any 30/30 or 32/30 one of the most common sizes they cater to really tall guys or large guys I found more 36+ size jeans then anything the selection isn't very large either but can expect much this is forever 21 known for the lady's The items are very cheap and well priced so you can definitely find a bargain read more

Great clothing selection. The store is beautiful. However, they have got to do something about their register. I have never seen the register on the bottom floor open. The register on the top floor - I've never seen more than 2 people working at a time. It's slow and I spend more time in line most times than I spend finding clothes to buy or trying them on. Some of the girls at the register are really sweet, and one of them always looks like someone's holding her against her will. She couldn't look more miserable if she tried. I have no problems with the store itself, but I wish they'd do a better job of getting customers in and out. Never have I seen such a slow register in my life. read more

Before I went to the store I looked at the return policy online and said without a receipt I can get store credit. So I went in to return my clothes and the guy told me no, I can only exchange and then said I could only get $5 for a the tank I paid $15. And no one else in the store could help me or explain why I was having to lose $10 on a top that doesn't fit. Awful service here. read more

I lovvvvvve this forever 21 y'all!!!!! I believe that this is the best one in Montgomery county! This location has a wide variety of clothing and accessories.They also have an awesome plus size section. This store has two levels and both levels stay organized. Everything is easy to find. Not only that, but they have a section for the men as well. I like that this store takes women's different sizes in to consideration. The customer service is great. The sales people are always very helpful. However, I will always question why they don't have anyone workin at the registers down stairs. If your downstairs and you wanna pay for clothes, you gotta walk up two flights of stairs or take the elevator. I just think they should have those registers open downstairs as well. I'm just sayin. I wouldn't normally post a review for this store because nothing amazing or extremely disappointing has happened at this location, all F21s are practically the same. But a lovely girl by the name of Jessica was very helpful today! I accidentally brought my sisters receipt instead of my own to exchange a couple of things and she was still able to make the exchange. On top of that, she was able to reserve my items while I looked for another pair of jeans due to a BOGO promotion, and was ready to check me out right away when I came back. 5 stars for Jessica, 4 stars for the store as a whole. There was a petite Asian woman who came to help in the dressing rooms and really got the line moving, all the other employees working the dressing room were rather slow. I went to the fitting rooms about 3 times (waited in long lines 3 times haha) and she was the most efficient. read more

You get what you pay for. It's cheap stuff sold to you by high school kids and it's always a mess, but if you want to shop in a perfectly organized setting you can first look into paying more than 12 bucks for a dress. Therefore, no complaints out of me. I understand that every 12 to 21 year old tears through there and it's impossible to clean up after and so the photos of clothes on the floor on this page are laughable. Idk what's going on lately but this store has turned into an absolute dump. Nothing is organized. All racks are mixed together, it's literally looks like a Goodwill. Where is their manager? The whole time we're in the store an employee kept walking thru the store dragging clothes on the floor and hanging then up on the racks...customers even step on them and/or were tripped up, and the employee didnt seem to care one bit...if the employees don't respect or care for the merchandise, then how/why would any of us consumers? Horrible return policy. I went into the store to return my items and I brought the item and the receipt. Then the cashier told me I needed to have the card in which I bought the items with. I came within the 30 days and they told me to come back the next day. The next day was past the 30 days return policy and I had my card the item and the receipt. Instead of returning my item they decided to charge me again for the same items I already paid for and take the items. They scam people and are super disorganized. They put non-clearance clothes in the clearance sections to trick people and have clothes all over the ground. I hate this store! read more

This Forever 21 is one of the best. They have 2 levels and it's very large. I can always find something to buy when I am here. The only problem is that the sales staff is basically non existent. And when you do find someone you'll be lucky if they actually want to help you. They don't use the downstairs registers any more so the upstairs line is very long in the weekends. It's best to get here early because after the day goes on the store looks an absolute wreck. read more

So glad they have a plus size section but it seems to be shrinking. I would love to see more plus size options, I've been there weekly for the past month and only found one thing I wanted to buy. It's a shame because walking through the regular sized I see something fantastic on every rack. The sales associates all tell me there is more in the stock room, but I don't know why it's not on display when the plus size racks are never actually full. This Forever 21 is quite large...having two stories. That being said it gets messy and you end up seeing some of the same stuff in different areas. They do have a small selection of mens as well as plus size womens. There is even a shoe section upstairs where the majority of the shoes are. I have been to this location several times and I always have found that it is very messy and employees always have boxes out everywhere putting new product out. This is nice but I think this should be done during off hours. They also do not make use of the downstairs fitting rooms making the upstairs one very crowded. I hope they get a lot of help for the holidays and open all the cash registers as well as fitting rooms. Would I shop here on the regular, probably not...there are a lot of other stores in this mall to find great stuff! However, if I needed to I would, but there are a lot of other forever 21 I could visit that are better kept! read more
