Absolutely, ridiculous price when I can pay for a private photographer to shoot in the field for $400 and send me 60 edited shots. Or go to Sphere self serve photo and get a 15 min shoot with 60 edited shots for only $89. Employees and management were rude and would not work with me at all on pricing. They also would not refund me the $40 I spent to reserve my 30 minute slot less than 24 hours ago. They had open availability all day today, I wonder why. Very disappointed, this is not a way to treat a potential customer! You could've had my business if you just tried a little harder, sad!

My wife came across them on Yelp! and we hired them to do the photo and video shoot for my parents' 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mind you, we hired them less than a month before the actual event. David and Jerome took the time to do a phone call with us and walk through the entire itinerary of the day from the ceremony at Mission San Diego through the entire reception at the Gaylord Pacific. I really enjoyed working with all of them. They were so kind, warm, and detail oriented. I can't say enough about Fate Studios and how they made this event a truly memorable event! I also pitched an idea to Jerome about doing an AI video of my parents, describing their love story and how they met 50 years ago in the Philippines. Jerome has years of experience as a filmmaker in the Philippines and has worked for one of their large TV networks there, so he's a pro. I was nervous that we wouldn't have enough time to take this video from start to finish, but Jerome assured me that he could deliver. We presented the surprise AI video to my parents after we showed their slide show and the crowd was truly mesmerized! Many of our guests told me that the AI video was an awesome concept. But let me say that David, Jerome, and their team were awesome! I feel as though I gained some friends for life. The second I met them in person it felt like I had known them for a long time. They also knew how to get my parents to take pictures. You know, once you get older the excitement for these kinds of things is not the same as when you first got married :). So if you need a great team of folks who just make you feel at ease with a big event, look no further! I checked if they were touring again and when I saw a session two days before my birthday, I took it as a sign from the universe that I needed to book another one. Be rude not to! The photographs preserve not just images, but the joy and love we shared during this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, ensuring these cherished memories will live on for generations to come. When planning this family photo session, I had a vision for photos that would serve dual purposes - a Christmas card for our big family, but also a Christmas card for my Brother, Sis in Law and Luke and Rowan (my nephews). It was a "Gift to the entire family" as I saw it. I also envisioned my parents and family members turning the photos into a "statement piece" for our home (or my parents). The first thing that struck me with Amy was how easy it was to talk to her and how empathetic and personable she is. Additionally, Amy asks copious questions prior to the shoot...And these are VERY DETAILED questions. They ask things such as "What is your (childs) favorite color?" or "What gets them excited?" or "What are they into?" -- This all helps with the shoot and she comes prepared. Further, she asks questions about every family member. She asks every family member's name, relationship, "Gotchas", where they are from, etc. This shows and defines amy as showing genuine interest and empathy in her clients. It shows she cares. Implicitly. When she arrives, she calls everyone by name. She references familial relationships. She speaks with kindness. She is focused on keeping things moving and getting the best shot, but also very engaged in ensuring she connects with her audience.
