Since I live in Portland, OR, and my friend lives in Greenville, I decided to call a florist in her zip code rather than use a company that coordinates. I wanted to make sure the arrangement was an appropriate size and by calling the florist directly, I was able to ask questions and even tailor the arrangement. In this case, they added some yellow gerbera daisies to add contrast to the predominantly orange arrangement. The vase itself was modern rustic, not glass, which was another preference. All the arrangements come in Standard, Deluxe and Premium so you can select the size and price that works for you. I went with Deluxe. The woman who answered the phone was so helpful and patient, answering all of my questions. I placed the order online and called back to make sure they received my instructions about adding a splash of yellow and she confirmed my order. This is THE WORST venue for an event on the planet. Not that the place isn't beautiful. BUT, it is…read morepoorly maintained and managed. The owner, Ren, only concern is if SHE is happy with how the event is going. NO WATER for guests. If you hire her bar tending services, don even think about asking for water. No water served on the tables. Also, the bridal suite is DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. My niece (the bride) sat on the sofa in the bridal cabin while getting ready, and her wedding dress got stained with some brown whatever. The hooks to hang dresses leave ANY dress dragging in the floor, and the floor is dirty as it can be. Literally wiped up spilled water and the paper towel was black. Not garbage cans for people to throw their plates, cups, etc., away... and don't think anyone is clearing your tables. They came at the end of the party to clear the tables, the guest had to sit with dirty plates, cups, silverware, etc. the entire party. Also, NO PLACE for any caterer to properly function. Just one tiny sink and a 5 ft ledge that was about 12" deep for them to work on. The area where the "outdoor," reception is, is full of wholes when you walk. Also, the electricity out there is rigged with a bunch of extension cords for you and your guests to maneuver around! And if you bring supplies for other items they don't offer and you had to bring in, they will use YOUR supplies, instead of what THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE. Did I mention NO WATER ANYWHERE. And if you bring it, REN won't let you have it at the bar. She prefers to use the sink to fill each cup in front of your guest, rather than out of a pitcher. TRUST ME, I bought pitchers AND water, and she wouldn't serve it! WATER!! She's lazy, half ass and disgustingly rude to her clients. Again, she said she was happy how things are running, regardless of the client who paid happiness. Also, bud your own tables cause she ain't doing it. I am a caterer, I know how hospitality goes. This place is awful. I wouldn't have an event there, even if it was 100% for free! No thanks. It's a dive. Had to give it one star, just to submit the review.
