It is known for its Christmas concert, prayer and Love Feast. Walking to this great chapel you will see beautiful lit decorations in white along the walkway to enjoy. I always feel excited to experience this event and feel inspired to share part of what makes Christmas so special with my friends. The Love Feast starts off with live orchestral music, prayer and instruction on the proceedings. At the door you are offered a hand-made candle to light and a pamphlet to introduce you to the order of the ceremonies including the words to the hymns, when to light your candle etc. During the ceremony you will get the Feast; a roll and coffee, always welcome especially on a cold December night. I hope you can take a breather from life's journey to enjoy this lovely tradition while celebrating the holiday.

If you fail one exam you are out of the program and they take your money and you're not allowed to be readmitted to the program. Do not invest your time, resources, or energy in pursuing WSSU Nursing program.

My time at Salem College brought me fleas, bedbugs, and termites. My time at Salem College brought me cold showers, hot sinks, malfunctioning heat in December, and broken air conditioning in May. My time at Salem College brought me inadequate food safety inspections, and only superficial bandages to cover a much deeper problem. Salem College has now fired their Director of Diversity and Inclusiveness, a decision publicized after students left campus. A decision that, once again, shows Salem College is only interested in bandaging, but never fixing the deeper issue. Salem College has become the kind of place that is still discussing a trans student policy 5 years later (although they are quick to tell you they value their students as individuals), but was able to write, review and publish a protest policy within a week of students organizing a peaceful sit in. My time at Salem College also brought me a degree. A degree I credit to my amazing and devoted professors. A degree that I, and many of my peers, received in spite of the administration in place.

The instructors there are not only well educated and versed in the word, they are true men of God, fireballs for the Word, and excited about sharing and rightly dividing the Word. And we, the students are being taught how to do just that!!! I love the school, the atmosphere, and the people-you will meet people from all religions and areas of ministry with strong anointings on their lives, and a true thirst for God and His Word. This was a relatively large Goodwill, and had a great selection of clothes. As with most thrift…read morestores, they had their fair share of outdated junk, but, they also had plenty of newer or in-style clothes, and tons of nice business attire. There was also a decent selection of furniture, housewares, books, electronics, and toys. I got several nice frames for $2 each. Goodwill prices in general are pretty high for thrift, but this one has some nice pieces that were worth it. For instance, shirts were $5.99 which is kind of high, but I got a couple 100% merino wool sweaters for that price, which is good for such well made items. Staff were constantly putting out new items the whole time we were in there.

Some shoppers park their cart in the isles and go texting in their phones oblivious of other shoppers who need to pass through or look up items in the displays. Tell shoppers to park their carts outside isles so everyone can shop uninterrupted.
