Thought I left a review of this place. The name has changed a few times since it was added to Yelp. I like to stop by the Exchange when I am in town. This Exchange is like a mall inside. There are vendors, stores, nail salon, eye exams, food court and of course the PX. This place has a MAC store inside! That is pretty awesome so you won't have to drive far to go to a MAC store. You can also pick up or fill your prescriptions here with Darnell. Pretty convenient! I have tried Sarka and the Chinese food here in the food court. It was decent. You must have a valid military id in order to make purchases at the PX. The parking lot is spacious and this place is always busy when I stop in on the weekends. They have events here from time to time. Book signing events to meet and greets. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017 - PART 3: 75/100 Much better than the last PX (previously located across the street.) Practically a mall, they now have a wide (and better) variety of eateries as well as well-known specialty shops (Game Stop, Starbucks, MAC.) But I didn't come in for their food court or these shops. I came in here to find a bargain at the main store. And like the many previous visits (even if it was at that previous location) it didn't fail. Found tons of clothing and shoes and bags at super marked down prices. I felt like I made out like a bandit! I also noticed they carry much much more brand names than they did before, and with their items being tax free, you can't go wrong. And FYI: they do price matching! Good thing I'm always on a time limit with every visit. It'll surely put my budget in serious danger! read more

Being in the military for the past 7 years, I have visited multiple PXs. This updated exchange is in par with the NEX of Pearl Harbor. The food court boasts multiple restaurants: typical asian cuisine, sandwich shop, smoothie king, starbucks, taco bell, burgers, etc. In addition, multiple random shops, such as souvenir, military, clothing, electronics, etc house the other shops. As for the PX, the larger layout prevents cramping of aisles and products sitting on top of each other. I am surprised as to how big this place is. Coming from San Antonio, I am very impressed with this PX. I love that it feels like its a mall. It has everything that you need. From stores to a food court with great choices. I love love that it has a MAC store. I always stop at Starbucks for my Latte. I stopped at the food court for breakfast to try the Den (dinner like from Dennis) The food was ok, nothing to rave about. I am not a big shopper but this PX has a lot to offer. Bathrooms were very clean and they staff is very friendly. read more

Amazing update to the original PX. It simply looks like a nice little mall. Many more options for food, tons of seating, televisions for viewing and much more. If you get the opportunity to come here come see what it is all about please do so. Bigger selection for apparel and household items. The electronics sections are large and many more private vendors have booths to provide everything from haircuts, to little odds and ends for the family. Great improvement overall. read more

This place is huge! Some of the stores include, Sally's beauty, Giggle (baby store), Ashley Kid's furniture Sugar Time (candy store) Game Stop MAC --------- One of the only stores that sells MAC products in the area! ------- A note about this MAC, they are very understaffed. Each time I have gone in, same issue, about 2 actual MAC employees working, who are always busy doing "makeovers" or whatever to other ladies. They are always friendly, just never available. Sometimes I just need to grab something, other times I want to test out colors and need assistance. Either way, frustrating. Once I came with a friend who wanted some new foundation, both employees were doing makeovers. We left for 30 minutes, got some stuff in the PX, came back, and they were still doing makeup on the same two ladies. The store was packed but customers got fed up and just left. This type of non-availability is not good for business and is costing the store a lot of money. Just a heads up..... be prepared to WAIT. ---- Some sports memorabilia store that sells a lot of team clothing, cups etc... Paul Mitchell Hair salon Great Clips Nail Salon Dentist and orthodontics office plus all the little kiosks....things remembered, local honey, phone cases.....etc. And of course...the huge PX. Dianne at the firearms counter is AMAZING! She really knows her stuff and is incredibly helpful if you are a newbie in the gun game, or an expert. The older Indian gentleman who works at the watch/jewelry counter is a complete d-bag. So just a heads up...... he will ignore you and walk away while you're talking. Twice in a row now. Please find another job. I have also had to send drinks back because they were so bad, and I never do that. I have gotten an attitude for it, but it's not my fault you don't know the basics of being a barista....like a frap vs. a tea..... I was warned going in by a couple of soldiers "welcome to the slowest starbucks on earth" hope they get their stuff together. read more

If you haven't been to the Fort Bliss exchange you will see how disappointing this exchange at Fort Hood is compared to the Fort Bliss exchange area. Fort Hood is bigger than Fort Bliss. The food court seem small for how many people that is being served. read more

Wow, this place is huge! We just came from a teeny tiny post and this place was overwhelming. The food court is above average and they have lots of stock in the px. The only bad point is that it could stand to be organized in a way that makes more sense. read more

The building layout is a nice updated open concept, and the cleanliness is an improvement, the store choices are still like your basic on-post exchange. A lot of soldiers, friends, and families frequent the PX. I dislike the way they have the parking set up. Most of the time when it is busy, you have no choice but to park off in the distance. The location for customer service is a bit annoying. It is located in one of the main pathways for shoppers but people waiting in like kind of block off others trying to get buy with carts or just an bag of fertilizer. Overall, great. Tried to get someone from Bobbi Brown to help me with the makeup on 2 different occasions. First time she wasn't there at her scheduled time due to a shoe issue. I waited over an hour wandering the store waiting for her only to be told she doesn't have the foundation in the color I want. She didn't even bother to try to match me with a color near it. Second time was today when she was helping another customer and as soon as she was done with him she ran off to talk to the other make up lady & they walked out to Starbucks. Having worked as a Supervisor in Customer Service for Aafes this is completely unacceptable. Once I got in to my car I called because I wanted to speak to the GM about this but after being put on hold for over 10 minutes I was told by Ms. Washington that the manager was in a meeting and would need to call back later. Seriously? You would think with this beautiful new building with everything they have to offer keeping customers happy should be their top priority & actually easy. I should know seeing how I was hands on with my customers in our exchange back home. read more
