I went through the main entrance and got told that the entrance was at the home depot side, so I had to carefully back out and make my way. All fair - I have to respect the line and other people's time. There were 3-4 vans ahead of me and I waited maybe 20-30 minutes. The process was smooth as someone who's not in the industry. 1) Go in and get your car weighted 2) Get directed to a spot where you will unload all your metal 3) Head towards the exit to get reweighed 4) Get paid As someone not in the industry, I was just given the value of the weight in light iron, because they wanted to get me out and not sort whatever metal I had. Thankfully I didn't have anything valuable like copper. Unfortunately, the gave me 5 cents a pound and valued everything as light iron. I had a 100 pounds (or so I'm told) and got paid $5 for it. Not worth the manual labor nor the gas used. The staff here are pretty accommodating and will direct you as needed. Not the most welcoming but definitely not rude either. When I called, I was told they would sort the metal I had for the appropriate prices. No such thing happened. They just want to get people in and out.

BEWARE! My experience was extremely disappointing…read more I originally contacted this company for a junk removal job. I was initially quoted $500, and after several text exchanges, we agreed on $425. Before scheduling, I specifically asked him to come to my property to provide an accurate estimate. He declined and replied, "I wouldn't want to come unless I could do the work right then and there. If I could do it for $425, could we do the job tomorrow late morning?" Based on that conversation, I agreed. When he arrived, he immediately said the job was much larger than he anticipated and that it would cost an additional $200. I agreed to pay the original $425 that day and discuss the remaining $200 later. He asked if I would be home while the work was being done. I had planned to be there, but I was unexpectedly called into work. I texted him to let him know I wouldn't be home and told him I would send payment once the job was complete. Later, he sent me photos indicating the job had been finished. Trusting those photos, I immediately sent the agreed $425. When I later checked the property, I discovered the trash had not been removed. After I confronted him, he claimed the debris had been "re-dumped" onto my property because I supposedly hadn't paid--even though I had already sent the payment shortly after receiving the completion photos. He then charged me a $250 "re-dump" fee, offered to refund only $175, or said he would complete the job only if I paid the additional $200 he requested plus the $250 re-dump fee. That brought the total from our agreed price of $425 to $875. I feel the pricing changed repeatedly, the work I paid for was not completed as represented, and I was left feeling misled. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to get a written, on-site estimate, keep all communications in writing, and do not pay until you have personally verified that the job has been completed.

We needed a dumpster for kitchen reflooring project. We told Customer Service exactly what we were…read moredoing and they recommended a 10 cu yd dumpster and a price. Delivery and pickup were as scheduled with heads up as driver got closer to address. However, they did a bait and switch on pricing. This size dumpster is rated for 3000-4000 lbs. We loaded it up about 1/4 full with old tile and materials then threw cardboard and paper from packaging on top to about half way. We later got a call that it was over THEIR 2000 lb limit and charged 20% more. Bottom line is that they are no real deal and priced about the same as everyone else so don't get sucked in based on price. They are competent as long as you know going in that they don't really have lower prices. The approach bothers me so I won't use them again. I can get a bigger dumpster for the same price from my local township.

First step arriving on site is pulling up to an "alleyway" with a large scale. Truck and driver would be re-weighed after. Upon queuing up, the back of the truck literally opens up to a large yard of debris while "the claw" picks from the center. Bulldozers enter every other truck to push the debris towards the middle so the claw can pick and dump to a large hopper. Sprinklers are always on at the perimeter and water sprayed to control dust. At first I thought the guy couldn't make up his mind on where I needed to pull the car over in the lot. I didn't realize I was driving on and off the weigh station. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I only gave this a one star because I couldn't give it a…read morezero!!! Avoid this company at all costs! I had a terrible experience with them. Mike the owner came out and initially quoted a price of $400-$600 for the job and when they arrived they raised the price of the job to $1,000, which I was not happy about but agreed to. They only had room for some of my items since they came with the truck already half full and they said I would have call and schedule another pickup for the rest of the items. After they finished loading the items on the first day, they demanded that the job be paid in full for both pickups before they left. After I paid the $1,000 and scheduled a second pickup, different workers came and insisted on an additional $650 after all the items were already loaded onto the truck. When I refused to pay more since this was the third time they were now trying to change the price, they dumped everything in my driveway. They have a shady practice of loading trucks loosely, sending different workers, and trying to extract more money, even after you've paid in full. Beware!
