I discovered Community First Bank of Indiana (CFBI) through their community business development representative, Bonnie Riley. I had the privilege of having Danielle Gaston set up the paperwork for my new account. She was kind and courteous and even allowed me to joke and banter with her. Scott Hammersley, their business/commercial lending specialist, came out and introduced himself and spent time learning about our new business coming to the Westfield area. Later when I was having trouble getting online banking and the mobile app setup, one of the bank's team took my call, walked me through it, and stayed on the phone with me till setup was confirmed. I never felt rushed or hurried, there was a calm, steady tone and constant reminders that I was their priority and they wanted me to be set up and able to use all the resources the bank had for me. I'm grateful for my time at CFBI, and I'm very impressed with the service and resources they have available. I love their approachable and dedicated commitment to our local community.

I took my grandson to this Chase Bank to cash some savings bonds that I had purchased for him years…read moreago. We screwed up and had thought we had an appointment but as it turned out we were at the wrong bank. But the bank teller (Jean) was son nice. Even though they were short handed she took the time to sort through all of the bonds (there were a bunch of them) and cashed them out for us. This is the third time that I met may grandsons at this bank and each time the tellers were so thoughtful and accommodating. Their excellent customer service is much appreciated.

Otherwise, at this location, expect to hit a giant pothole that's been there for 2 years when you pull in. Expect average service for tellers. If there is any banking experience that will make you think our financial institution deserve more regulation, this will be it. The only reason I'd fathom they care about me is because they can use my balance as collateral to borrow against so they can go out and gamble in the market. I'm sure we will be bailing them out during the next recession. Their service for the average consumer will make you hope they go bankrupt. When you call customer service---for anything---expect to be routed to the Philippines, with standard grade call center personnel reading their rehearsed BS. Expect better interest rates at other banks. Expect better service at other banks (I have another checking at Huntington). If you enjoy the quality of service you get with AT&T or Comcast them this is the place for you. Oh, and to email about the pothole? No customer feedback email contact info on their website. Clearly, they don't care about their customers.

The teller here told me he couldn't - I told him to call a number I had or look up in the system to see that in fact I could as I did it the previous day. He said no to which I replied so I'm going to have to waste my time and drive to the branch on binford which he replied and said yes. Don't visit this branch terrible customer service. The bank of Binford was extremely accommodating!

Every time I stop here there is an unpleasant experience. My first thought told me to stop at forum instead but unfortunately this place is seconds from my home. So the unfortunate experience that I'm referring to today is that when I pulled up (drive through) at 10:43 a.m my transaction was very simple I was depositing cash. I sent cash along with my ID the clerk verify which account I wanted it deposit it in and he disappear. 10 minutes later I hit the button to call tell her there was no response I waited another 3 minutes hit the button to call tell her no response. I waited a few more minutes and I hit the call teller button at least five times in a row. A different clerk emerged asking how she could help me and I asked her if she would send my identification card as I had already use the app to verify that the money was deposited 10 minutes prior. She disappeared from the screen and she sent out my ID card with no receipt. I hit the call clerk button again there was never a response again. I went ahead and left because I could verify through my app that the money was deposited and there was a line forming behind me. I left that drive-through at 11:01 a.m. and if I could give zero Stars I would

Until, its latest software "improvement," I would have…read moregiven it a five star rating, but its latest "improvement" has eliminated automatic synchronization of my IMCU account with Quicken or Ameriprise both which I find extremely useful in managing my financial affairs. To get the information into these accounts now requires a download from the IMCU site then an upload into those apps. This is the twenty first century, not the 19th century. What's next green eyeshades and quill pens. Reluctantly, despite the hassle, I guess I will have to move my accounts to a more customer friendly financial entity. Sigh, they had a good thing going.

Closed my account after they changed their policy to require members to pay their arbitration costs…read moreand legal fees. Really? I hold credit unions to a higher standard. They also posted the incorrect interest to my account and also failed to tell me about a premium money market account. That was enough. When I called on arbitration, they said the new policy was to "encourage" members not to go to arbitration. I get that. Who else has such an anti-consumer policy.
