Sitting and sweating from 5pm until 9pm. I asked one of the servers about the situation and they stated the owners did not properly fit out the building from an air conditioning angle. My wife is eternally cold, even in summer. She even said she was hot. Rent in cool weather only.

We had the 'Seniors' room which offered easy access to load in/out, bathrooms in the room and access to the full kitchen/ice machine/etc. The facilities are well maintained and clean. We were able to pick any 6 hour time frame and there was a staff member, Joni (sp), onsite the whole time in case we needed her. They had a projector and speakers that we used to show old family videos and she helped set that up as well as add additional tables for food. They offer a huge discount if you book multiple rooms at a local motel, which we did (Holiday Inn Express.) This made the room less than any other place by far. I have been to other family events here in the past (Anniversary/Christmas) and it has always gone well. The only negative thing i found was the process for putting down a deposit and turning in the application - you have to go to two different places (deposit - City Hall, application - Civic Center) or you can mail it in. They also do not take credit cards. For out of town people, and others, it would be much more convenient to fill out paperwork and pay deposit online with a credit card.
