I feel like a lot of donut places jsut taste better when it's freshly made. I couldn't tell if the ones I got in my box was fresh. But at least it wasn't stale Nd hard... that would've been signs of it being old n left out. I went in a lil before 10pm cus I had a donut craving.. getting a glaze donut is a must for me. Cant go wrong with a classic.. and it has to be made right! This one was not bad. Surprisingly good. I say that cus I've tried this place before.. IMO, it's a hit or miss really depending on what time u go in... I went n got a half dozen and asked how much it would be and he just said depends on what donut u want. Mmmkay. Just the simple donuts. Nothing special.. but I did do one custard filled tho. Dk if that's a special donut or not... yea I don't like that it's cash only cus I be forgetting sometimes or I just don't have cash on me. Everything electronic now a days. Would've liked tap. These were the worst donuts I've ever had in my life. I don't leave many reviews, but I am leaving this one because I felt that I wasted my money. Why are the donuts SALTY?? The flavor of the icing on the donuts taste weird to me and the dough of the donuts need to be improved. Its so tough, like pizza dough is being used. Donuts are supposed soft and fluffy. The cake donut was crispy, which I don't mind, but tasted burnt. The only one I liked was the old fashioned. You got to be real special to mess up an old fashioned. We also got the shaved ice, which was not impressive, but better than the donuts smh. I paid over 25 dollars, not including two atm fees because he doesn't take card in this day and age, for something I did not enjoy. That infuriates me. I wouldn't get donuts from here again if it was the last donut shop in Fresno. read more

Bring cash to try this local donut shop! It was convenient because who doesn't like eating donuts on a grocery shopping run. The store was small but they offered a variety of donuts and the regular favorites! Was happy they had crullers which were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Their donuts were a doughy than what I would like. I tried their donut holes, butter milk bar and donut twist. Biggest props given for actually being open late. There are other donut shops who show open late on Yelp! but are not. The donuts are the staples. My personal preference is for cake donuts, so my go to are plain cake. I also like devil's food with chocolate and coconut on top. Went for an after dinner donut. We're in the middle of a pandemic so I thought donuts would be safe. Well, the guy who served us the donuts didn't have a mask on so we unfortunately did not get to enjoy donuts tonight. I will never go back to this place. What can I say, it's your average donut shop that sells a variety of flavors in all shapes & sizes. My favorite is the Maple donut & the pink donut w/sprinkles wasn't too bad either. They had a Chocolate chip donut filled w/chocolate goo that wasn't too bad, but too chocolatey to my liking. They also have Hawaiin shave ice which I have yet to try, but it did not look appealing to me at all. Friendly customer service, cash only. read more

Not too bad of a place for some donuts. Selection is obviously better in the morning hours, especially when they all look pretty fresh. Their chocolate Boston cream donuts are pretty good here, and is what I always order. Cash only here also, but there is a ATM inside. I do like how they have their version of shave ice, which is really cheap ($2 for like a medium 16oz I think). It's definitely not as good as what you would expect from Leilani's obviously, but it gets the job done if you are having a craving,and not in the mood to drive all the way there. So tonight I got off work around midnight, met a some friends and decided we wanted to grab a few donuts. We head to Foster's, ring their bell to buzz us in. I see their employee peep his head from the back and walk away. A few minutes go by and he comes out with his arms raised and asks "what do you want?" Obviously we're there for donuts. He lets us in and he tells us "you got two minutes or get out" This dude had me livid with the way he approached us and after this remark I simply asked "are you always a prick to your customers?" Which his reply was "when they come in after midnight I do". We started to leave and he proceeded to drop a few "f*** yous". I've came to Foster's on occasion and they're usually very friendly. This is my first review on yelp and I felt obliged to write one after this experience. When you are a sister to a pregnant person you will end up being a taxi to some of the weirdest food joints at all hours of the night. Needless to say this is how I ended up at Fosters. I am not a donut person really and I am definitely not a 2 A.M. donut kind of person but there I was driving down Cedar with my pregnant sister in tow. She had a hankering for some donuts and her man was sleeping already so I was the DD. Fosters happens to be the only 24 hour donut joint we know of so we made the trek, it was empty and clean, they dont accept cards but have an ATM inside...The man working was really nice...my sister proceeded to pick one of each item proving that this dozen was meant for her and the little one inside ONLY...I got a french crueler on the side and was rather please with it, it was not too sweet and it was soft. Overall a win!!! I see that they sell Hawaiian shaved ice here too so I must come back in the day when it is wartm and sample some. OH and as you might expect a 24 hour donut place in the middle of the night is a beacon to those under sertain herbal persuasions...just a fair warning...it is a little entertaining. XD read more
