Cute little resale shop in Verona. Welcoming atmosphere and everything in here is expertly curated and covers the whole range of sizes. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and offered some coffee or a bottle of water. After that, while she made it known that she was available to help or even give her opinion on things I tried on, I was left to peruse at my leisure. The perfect mix of helpful and hands-off! It's a little over my head but I believe the clothes in here are sorted by color season, making it easy to find things that are suited for your complexion and coloring. The options span from casual to dressy and everything in between. Brands tend to be mid to higher end and unlike other consignment stores I've been to, the selection felt thoughtful. Everything was in great condition and fashionable. When I visited, they were doing a sale on everything in the store. I got a wallet phone case, sleeveless blouse and earrings for $26! Even without the sale, prices are reasonable. Even though it's off the beaten path for me (I live in the city), I'm sure I will be a frequent customer here. read more

Just when I thought there was nowhere to shop in pittsburgh, I stumbled on Found by Flourish. Not only was I able to find lots of clothes to try on (tough for a plus gal) I found a head to toe outfit for a wedding I was going to. Audrey, the owner, is amazing and helped style each piece. read more

I love to support other women in our community -- and the ladies of Shift are some of my very favorite people! 2. A large selection of pre-owned items on consignment = good for the planet. The team at Shift is helping to keep these clothes and accessories out of our landfills - thank you!! 3. The items at Shift are extremely size-inclusive (XXS-4X), excellent quality, highly curated mix (not an overwhelming browsing experience at all), and affordable for any budget (fast fashion to designer). They also frequently have great sales! 4. Shift's staff is comprised of trained personal stylists, and they provide a uniquely personalized shopping experience - especially if you are a returning customer. If you let them know you are coming ahead of time, they will pull together a fitting room for you with items they think you will like, based on what they already know about your style, size, and budget. 5. Shift is following all COVID-19 retail best practices, and the shopping experience feels very safe. I have personally shopped there 3 times since March 2020, and have had an amazing experience every time. If you are still uncomfortable shopping in-person, you can shop with Shift online via their Poshmark closet (@shopstyleshift), or order a Shift Style Box (similar to StitchFix concept) to be delivered directly to your home, which you can return by mail with a pre-paid mailing label. If you have ever been disappointed with a StitchFix box - try the Shift Style Box! It is so much more personally curated and the items are higher quality at a better price. I cannot say enough good things about Shift. Not only is it chock full of pre-owned treasures -- environmentally friendly fashion -- but there's always a professional stylist around to pull surprising finds that make you feel like a million bucks. No pressure to buy. Just friendly, and 100% free, fashion advice for anyone hoping to find their most flattering and authentic colors, silhouettes and style. Excellent COVID precautions too. Mask compliance inside the store is perfect. They also offer both curbside pickup and shipping. Most of their inventory is on Poshmark, so it's easy to shop online, or their stylists can mail you a personalized Style Box (like Stitchfix, but so much more thoughtful and eclectic). read more

100% recommend the color analysis with Shelly and Audrey at Flourish!!! It was the absolute best experience, and I left not only having a better understanding of my best colors but also the reason behind why they are my best colors. It's clear that Shelly and Audrey stand out from other stylists I've interacted with because of their depth of knowledge. I had been interested in exploring my best colors over the past year and had reached out to other online color analysts before I found Flourish. I paid 2 others who are popular on social media and used one other free service and got different results for all of them (all of which ended up being wrong). It was a completely different experience with Flourish. I did an in person consult, but their online analysis is legit and stands out from others because of their process with checks and balances. Additionally, they give you a physical book of your best colors which you can then reference when shopping, and that's not something a lot of other online stylists do. Plus, they are just rad women who you'll enjoy spending time with, and it was just a fun experience all around. A++++ would recommend. Least intimidating shopping trip ever! Normally I hate stopping in stores because it's often me facing a dirty mirror in a dressing room all by myself upset that the clothes I grabbed off the rack didn't fit right. Shift blows the normal shopping trip out of the water! I had a special weekend staycation with my husband and I wanted a new outfit to wear so I headed to Shift where not only was I greeted by a friendly face but a GORGEOUS little shop that felt welcoming and bright. The woman working would look at an outfit I tried on and was genuinely excited about how I looked which made me super confident and feeling beautiful! I am more of a plus size which makes me stray away from these boutique type stores but Shift is different. They have a great variety of both styles and sizes. It would be a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon with your girlfriends! read more

This gem has been a wonderful addition to our community! The expertise, enthusiasm and honesty of the staff makes for an amazing shopping experience. They find treasures for me to try on that I would never have chosen for myself, but yet the color, style and fit are perfect and I purchase them. The quality is terrific, the prices are great, and I feel like I've spent time at a day spa when I leave because of all the personal attention. The style box is awesome - like getting presents in the mail, and I highly recommend it during the pandemic. Alex has been a tremendous help to me, and her intuition is right on point when she pulls items for me to try.
