My granddaughter attended the facility in Newnan. Beware of this location. If you are looking for a safe place. This is not it. She came home with scratches and a bloody lip. I found it refreshing to work in a child care center that actually put the success and well-being of their children above all else. The Christian values of the owners were definitely reflected in the care and patience of the teachers and staff. I loved seeing the children's faces light up when they saw their teacher each morning, and equally enjoyed seeing those expressions reflected on the teachers' faces, as well. I was allowed the opportunity to witness the same high standards at two of their other locations, and was surprised to learn that each center has a nutritionist on staff that prepares fresh, healthy meals and snacks each day. I'm sure that was a welcome change for parents that had experienced pre-packaged, or processed foods in other centers. However, the genuine concern for the health and well-being of their children was only one aspect of Foundation Academy that impressed me. I was also pleasantly surprised with their academic programs, and the notable progress of the children in each age group. I love that the Abeka Curriculum used in their advanced threes-kindergarten groups was written by educators, and with a Christian perspective. With the Abeka Curriculum, not only do the children learn necessary academic skills for advancement, but they also learn character development. As a public and private school teacher for pre-school through secondary age groups, I was always impressed with the advanced skills of any student transferring to my class from the Abeka home-school curriculum. No preschool or child care center is perfect. Even with Foundation Academy's stringent guidelines of daily classroom disinfection, and weekly professional sanitation, children pass germs to each other, and often contract those early immunity-building colds and upper respiratory tract infections. And even under the watchful eye of loving teachers, children sometimes fall down, push each other, act out, and take each other's toys. But the loving way the teachers redirect the students made it easy for me to believe I would feel safe with my own children/grandchildren at any of the Foundation Academy locations...just as hundreds of other parents apparently do. No one business is a perfect fit for everyone, and that includes employees, as well. But at Foundation Academy they seem to want everyone (employees and students alike) to find their perfect fit...no matter where it is. . . now that's good business! read more

Perry location-This place claims to be a positive and safe environment for your child with Christian values which is very untrue. The staff do not closely monitor the children especially while on the playground where all of the kicking, hitting, pushing and pinching goes on, basically where it's needed most. The staff stand against the building away from the children talking amongst themselves. Yesterday my child was bit by another child while on the playground. When the teacher was questioned she said boys will be boys and they play rough followed by what would I like her to do. Really! How about your job! When I asked if she knew of the incident she said yes he told me very nonchalantly. I then showed her the bite mark with broken skin on my child she claimed it wasn't there when she looked. It's hard to miss so I doubt she looked hard, if at all. She knew a child was bit and never even bothered to notify me as the parent! No first aid even attempted. Also no apologies just excuses and a poor attitude with eye rolling. No report was filed and the director claimed to not even know about the biting incident. The kids are bullies and so are the staff. Staff tell the kids to zip it, stop crying or they are going to the baby room, quit being tattletales while ignoring anything reported to them by kids or parents. I know for a fact they allowed at least 1 staff member to work prior to being fingerprinted. Don't be fooled by the nice looks because clearly it's not somewhere you want to take your child to be kept safe. If they cover up the obvious what else are they covering up! This place is great. My daughter loves going to school. It's only about 10 bucks more than the other places and so much better. She learned how to say grace and has increased her level of number and letter recognition. read more

Bonaire location...The pre-k teacher Ms. Judy and the manager Ms. Marjorie Barry ruin the place for everyone. The teacher has no patience with children nor does she watch them decently. I have seen a child get scarred on their face from fights that the teacher didn't see and another teacher had to come from their area to stop. I went to watch my child and saw multiple fights and the teacher was oblivious to them. So, I stopped them. I stood by the door and watch children go back and forth at each other while Ms. Judy was putting up paperwork. If she would take the time and set a presence, they could be all right. I have seen my child digress to having temper tantrums...my son is four and didn't have tantrums since his first one at around one...something is NOT right. I asked if they were ever going to get cameras, they said they didn't have the money; but, were wired for the future. I believe, 100% my opinion, that they don't want them because it will show the true story. I brought several of issues to Ms. Barry about Ms. Judy (her friend for numerous years) and even spoke to them both about my observations, it only became worse. It seemed after the each conversation, my children were targeted and "did something" inappropriate. To include protecting themselves from some of the bullies at the daycare who seem to hit/push on one of my children daily despite me asking that they stay away from my children. I have noticed this on certain children. Ms. Judy even REFUSED to teach some children. You will regret it eventually if you take your older child there, I did. read more
