I decided to take a walk around Cody on of our laundry days/days off during my field geology course and found the Foundation For North American Wild Sheep building. The foundation website had information about the organization's efforts for the conservation of North America wild sheep and a roster of upcoming events. Signage was clearly visible from the road and I decided to take a look around to see if they were open or had any more information. There were a few benches to sit and rest and take in the beauty of the grounds and people walking by. Grounds are decorated with statues of North America wild sheep. There were also hours of operations and other operational information clearly posted at the entrance. The facility ended up not being open the day I went, but I still appreciated getting to walk around the grounds and check out the website. Gives a very basic feel for the organization, what actions are taken through/by the organization to help restore North American wild sheep populations, and how types of wild sheep are honored by the organization.
