We spent time in the first three. Each was worth a look and we could have stayed longer in the Art section. We have been to Cody's gravesite in Golden, CO, so it was great to get a comprehensive view of his life and impact on the Nation. The firearms section was amazingly in depth and we should have got a private guide. We enjoyed the Art section but ran out of time. I particularly liked the Remington sculptures. Inside the center tells the personal stories and educates on the history of what happened there. This is such a great place to learn about the importance of the Japanese American history so that it can be told for many more generations. This center is open every day 10-5pm.

The fee was reasonable, and the museum took us about 20 minutes total. The building and exhibits were top notch, and brand new. While the exhibits were not very big, they were educational and gave you information about the big horn basin area. They have an area dedicated to paleontology and one to archeology. I enjoyed getting to do something educational while needing a break, instead of just shopping or doing something mindless. If you are passing through this area, I'd take the time to stop and support this local museum.

When we pulled up it looked really small, but when we got up to it, we saw that it was much bigger. Overall it was a great experience. At Old Trail Town, you will find artifacts from the Old West as well as grave sites of several notable Western figures. You will also find original cabins used by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as well as a Wyoming saloon frequented by Cassidy's "Hole-in-the-Wall Gang". Some of my favorites were the log cabin home of "Curley" a Crow Indian army scout who helped guide Lt Col. George A. Custer and the U.S. 7th Cavalry to the battle of the Little Big Horn in 1876, and the old schoolhouse.

Anyway, the place has a gigantic fake T-Rex skeleton, so it attracts kids and dinosaur enthusiasts. They have all sorts of science box sets you can buy, such as "Grow your own rocks!" and what-not. They also have some very cool minerals and fossils for sale, but unless you feel like spending a bundle on something made in Peru, keep moving. The cashier seemed really bored.
