When my friends and family began discussing where we could accomodate a baby shower for 60 plus people at a reasonable price, within the area, I immediately researched the accessiblity of this spot. You do not have to be a church member, you do not even have to like church- There is ample parking, a huge space, beautiful gards, use of a full kitchen and great lighting for either day or evening events. Total cost of use of facility: $100 donation to the church. For a separate donation ( of any amount) you are given access to plates, glasses, and silverware. You can't beat it. We brought in our own caterers and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon and water views.

My family and I were very unhappy in Rhode Island until we started attending St. Luke's. It has allowed me the opportunity to serve my God and my brothers and sisters in ways I never have. I couldn't ask for a better environment to teach my children about God in. What child wouldn't thrive in a place where everyone is happy and enthusiastic?. Father Tim and Reverend Noel have to be sent straight from heaven. Unfortunately we had to move out of state and my heart aches to be back there. Do your soul a favor and give it a visit.

The weekly Sunday night Youth Masses (September-April) were what first drew me to this parish, and all three of my children have participated in the Youth Choir. I love that the Youth Choir music is contemporary and upbeat, and both the choir and the musicians who accompany them are amazing! At the Youth Mass, the readers, eucharistic ministers, and ushers are all teens and it's awesome to see so many young people involved in the Mass. The priests are very nice and make the kids feel welcome as well. There is also an amazing crew of volunteers who cook and serve a free dinner to everyone who attends the Youth Mass. Dinners range from homemade soup and bread to pasta & meatballs, to chicken, to pizza, and there is usually a great crowd of people of all ages eating and conversing together in the church hall after the Youth Mass. Aside from the Youth Mass, there are also other social events at the parish that are great such as the annual Strawberry Festival and the Candy Cane Bazaar. Every event is planned and carried out by volunteers who have so much dedication and are very generous with their time and talents. The religious education program is very good and classes meet on Sunday afternoons/evenings, and Monday evenings. There is also an active Youth Ministry team that plans monthly fun and service events for kids in grade 6 and up. As a new parishioner, I felt welcome at St. Joseph's pretty much immediately, and I've made friends of all ages here. So grateful for this wonderful Catholic church in North Scituate, RI!

I had read about the Coptic Church and watched a YouTube video of their Eucharistic Liturgy, so…read morewhen my wife and I drove past in Western Cranston, we stopped so I could see if the church was unlocked on a Saturday morning. Unlocked and more! About 20 adults and 10 children were attending the Divine Liturgy at a side chapel. incredibly cute little girls and boys who ran around but never made any noise. A young man came over to me and invited me to sit/stand with everyone else, and gave me a missal with English and Coptic (but in Arabic Script). The congregation alternated with the priest in a measured chanting. It was wonderful, seeming to reach into my body and soul. At the time of the Peace everyone around me exchanged a sliding handshake with me. I stayed behind at the time of Communion. When the priest sprinkled the congregation with holy water, he specifically made the sign of the Cross on my forehead with the water. After the Service, I chatted with the young man whose English was unaccented Rhode Island and went to kiss the priest's hand-cross. I had asked about receiving the blessed but UNconsecrated bread and was told that only those Baptized as Coptic Orthodox did so. It was moving, dignified without pretention. If I could have asked for more, it would have been to have seen Coptic style ikons as I have in books, but the place was tastefully understated and the pictures were Western style paintings.

Christian Hill was great from the first steps through the door to the last steps out. Very friendly people, great worship (and worship leader), great pastor/sermon. Contemporary and upbeat type of place that LOVES Jesus and teaches of him right from the Bible which is important! I will be back here next time I visit Warwick.
