The quote was good so I signed a contract. After they got here I was asked to come out and told that they misunderstood the work and it was going to cost a lot more to have the work done. Specifically discussed tying back the climbing roses on the side of the house, but other than that, they would be okay. First morning of the work, we discovered they had cut all the canes off at the ground. When confronted, he became very defensive and threatened to walk off the job setting back the whole project. They didn't even remove the climbing vines they had just killed so cutting them at the ground served no purpose.
