We stayed in a two-queen bed suite with a separate sitting area & TV. What drew us to Cobblestone in particular is that they are dog-friendly, but you never guess that was the case by how clean and tidy the lobby, elevator, hallways, and rooms are. The beds were very comfortable, with four pillows on each bed and it was great that they had signage stating that the pillows in front were "soft" and the pillows in back were "firm." My only critique would be to have more than one person working the check-in area on a holiday weekend, as it did take quite a long time to check in with only one person manning the counter.

There is a place for swimming, but it does not appear it is used often, so it is not a sandy beach meant for building sandcastles, but if you have children who want so splash around in the water, there is a designated location for that. The lake is small and quiet, perfect for fishing, kayaking, paddle boating, and canoeing. My family has stayed several times, and experienced many of the cabins. Some are better kept than others, but all have a rustic cabin feel.
