When I had arrived in Adelaide one warm December morning, I managed to convince my Day to take the long way home so that we could stop here for a drink. Okay, it is basically what you would expect from your average suburban pub, though it does have a House of Schniztel attached to it (which appears to be a specifically South Australian addition to the ALH chain), meaning that they have a menu with more schnitzel toppings than you could ever try in a lifetime. What I do like about this pub is the beer garden (but then is that not the case with most pubs that have beer gardens), which has quite a nice suburban garden feel to it. Still, it is not necessarily one of those pubs that I would go out of my way to visit.

While I admire everything else such as the pub like environment, semi restaurant feel.. My knowledge of the new schnitzel menu is why I wouldn't come back. The new toppings aren't "traditional" (what most people would order"). I think they have been trying to compare with other restaurants. Despite the unfamiliar topping choices, its cooked to perfection.

Beds were clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the only thing would be that you have to pay $200 for the key to get in even tho you get it back, some people / families don't have that extra money. The food down stairs was excellent, kids meals came out first, the food was cooked perfectly. The adult meals came not long after and tasted amazing! Staff are friendly and it's a nice place to eat with kids. We will stay here again.

I don't very often give bad reviews but this hotel needs much room for improvement…read more I ordered the baked snapper and had a scoop of frozen style veg on the side. It looked awful. I just took them off straight away. The snapper was rubbery! It takes a few minutes to steam or fry up fresh vegetables. It's just hard to comprehend how a hotel think that's acceptable. Another family member had a Caesar lamb salad and said it was disgusting. The lamb was far from appealing to look at. Two two senior specials had cold soft hot chips. The meals are the worst we've had in a long time. We all left food on our plates. The pub was empty for a Friday lunch, and I think we just discovered why. We won't be visiting again.

The menu is limited though but everything looked oh so delicious. We also had a starter of Three Cheese bread and it was awesome. Great service and atmosphere, kid friendly as well. A must try :)

Yep, I remember this pub from years back - we used to come here regularly and visit the bottle shop…read moreto grab a carton of beer and take back home. However, we never actually went inside, so one day, years later, I decided to rectify that situation. Well, it turns out that there really wasn't all that much here. In fact there were only two parts other than the bottle shop - the bistro and the gaming room, that was it. In fact there wasn't even a sports bar (not that it would have made the place any better). Well, okay, there was the small area for the TAB, but that was basically it. I guess in the future I'll just stick with the bottle shop.

Like most of the stations in Adelaide, this just has a shelter and that is pretty much it. In fact it is a rather small station. However, one one cool thing about this line, not so much the station, is that it happens to run through a golf course. It is a shame that the station that was located in the golf course has been knocked down (though that happened quite a while ago).
