Apparently many people were appalled and told her this wasn't ok. She wasn't apologetic and said she could do what she wanted on her page. How do I know this? Dozens of the girls on that page screen shot what she wrote and sent it to me. You can read a few of these messages, attached to this review. I've never seen anything like this in my adult life. Embarrassing (for her). Do not give your money to a business like this.

The entire time we were in there, she never once spoke a word to me. Mind you, there were only three customers there, and she kept assisting the others, all the while ignoring me. I had clothes I wanted to try on, but she walked right past me and asked the other customer if she could start a fitting room for her, ignoring the pile of clothes I had in my arms. I have worked retail before, and I was NEVER even half as rude to a customer. Her attitude and behavior were absolutely uncalled for, and instead of purchasing around ten items that I wanted for my upcoming vacation, I walked out empty handed, and will never step foot in there again. I learned that J Crew Mercantile is actually a re-branded J Crew Factory store that is opening in non-outlet plazas and shops nationwide. I am a huge fan of the Factory store product, so I think it's fabulous that they're making their product available outside of outlet centers. I am sure that the Peoria customer is excited to have this retailer in The Shoppes at Grand Prairie.

We had a great time, thanks in part to A Perfect Pear, in Peoria Heights. We visited a nearby jeweler and then decided to walk around the neighborhood's many stores and restaurants. It's apparent that many/most of the Peoria Heights stores and restaurants are closed on Mondays, surely because they are open on Sundays. Normally A Perfect Pear is also closed, but they are available to be open by appointment, and a prior guest with an appointment departed just as we walked past. We knocked and the lady (apologies for being forgetful with your name... sorry) working let us in to look around.
