I have been with Fowler Butane for maybe 12 years or more and I have always had the best service from them. I was thinking after last year and the higher use of our heater due to taking care of my 101 year old mother-in-law here in hospice that paying money each month like a heating savings account would be beneficial. That would even out the cost over the year and make bill paying easier for us and Fowler Butane. Just planning ahead to make everyone's life easier. read more

The propane service would be fine if I didn't have to deal with the gals over the phone. I've been using this company for a little over a year now and by far the worst aspect is the "customer service" over the phone. The gals never say their names, and are reluctant to give it to me. I've had the gals here laugh at me for a questions I've had or speak over me in the middle of a question. Various times I've called to see if I can get on the day of schedule and they never ever call back even though I ask reapeatdly to do so and at times been surprised by the delivery man. The delivery drivers have been great though, especially Gabe who took a moment to explain to me how some things operate. We had other propane companies in the past but they only delivered on Fridays and that was not ideal. read more

Since February when we moved in we've been worried about our propane being low. But we thought our gauge was broken, we would call every other month and ask them to just come check the gauge for us, and they would always tell us " no we're not going to check the gauge unless you're ordering propane." Which made no sense because if our tank was full and the gauge was actually just broken why would we order propane. So finally today I'm not sure whom I spoke with but the lady was very nice and said okay we'll send somebody out today. I believe his name was Gabe , he was so nice he explained everything to us. He even went around checking everything making sure there's no leaks. And he comes to find out that our hot water heater is electric so the reason our gauge has not moved since February is because we don't use propane haha. So it wasn't broken!! I guess that's something the property manager didn't even know when we moved in. So the five bad experiences we had when we called all got erased when this awesome employee came and went above and beyond to help us out. read more

Service pushers and liers. These people want to come out and charge you for everything. Don't use them. I have been a faithful customer since 2012. Mt Uncle had been for 30 years . Same house, same tank. I called to order propane and explained that I was really low so I turned the tank off and hooked a portable up to my water heater, totally disconnected from the house line. He said that they would need to come out, do a pressure test and relight pilots for a fee. I explained that I gave been a commercial plumber for 30 years and that his service call was not necessary. He insisted that they would have to do that because I disrupted the system by turning the tank valve off. I called B.S. , told him to cancel my propane order. Friday I will have a new tank installed, that I will own and it's going to feel wonderful to call them up and tell them to come get their tank off my property! Yea!! Call Mike Bispo. I've been using Fowler Butane Service for almost two years for my propane service. I've never had an issue with their office staff or service. I recently had a propane leak and called them out. They went above and beyond the call of duty to try and find the leak (it wasn't at the tank). They replaced valves, checked every fitting they could find, but couldn't find the leak. They of course had to shut down the propane for safety reasons and recommended I find a plumber. They followed up with us during the week and a half it took to diagnose and repair the leaks, told us to call them 24/7 once it was repaired and they would turn the propane back on. True to their word, once the repairs were made they bee-lined it to our house, ran their own tests to make sure everything was safe, and are now making sure the water heater is re-connected, and won't leave until everything is up and running safely. It's outside of their regular business hours right now. This company is awesome. Thank you ! read more

I have had two experiences with this company and each was an undesired result. The woman that answers the phones is incredibly rude and does not belong in customer service. The first time I called I was new to the house I live in and to buying fuel in general so I had many questions. The companies secretary was impersonal belittling, and flat out rude. Instead of listening to your questions politely, she cuts you off, talks over you and inadvertently insults you. My second experience calling for fuel was so unsatisfactory due to the same woman I have decided to pay extra and go to a different company. In my previous experience I had a day and frame of time for receiving fuel, so I expected the same experience this time. When I asked about such, I was rudely told they don't make appointments then was forced to sit on the phone and be told the 10 reasons why. When I referred to my previous time having a time and day appointment, she raised her voice to talk over the end of my question, which was quite annoying. Then she proceded to ask why I even need to be there, so I explained because last time she requested I be so therefore I assumed she wanted me here this time, and she replied as if I was insane for suggesting such a thing.
